2004 wall calendar

Post by J Anderson » Mon Jan 05, 2004 8:49 pm

Has anyone been able to find a Sailor Moon 2004 calendar in the US this year?

Amazon has a listing, with a "not available". I can't find an online store that does have it, though it seems a lot of them just link to Amazon. None have hit eBay.

Odder still is the calendar's publisher is listed as DC Comics. Probably the one company I'd expect to have zero interest in the franchise.

They were going to make one, but then decided not to a few months ago I believe.

There have been american-produced sailor moon calenders before. I have about three, from older years.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

*shrug* I think one was found at Suncoast, another at a book store, and I think one at wal-mart.

You can't find them anymore, unless you happen to come across the old ones online.

As Koi mentioned, they planned to make one, but it doesn't look like they will. I think this was probably due to the poor sales of last year's calander. But it's obvious why the sales were bad because they made poor image choices and Chibi Moon appeared on nearly every page.
