Favorite: Sailor Moon. I adore Usagi. As far as personality goes, she's the one I am most alike. Ditzy, lazy, in constant search of fun, and cares more about those close to her then anything else.

Least Favorite: Mercury and Saturn. Ami is too much of an over achiver for me and she gets more filler episodes then the rest of the senshi (minus Moon and Chibimoon) combined. Hotaru just didn't get enough character development and most of her fanbase can be a tad annoying. (Same goes for most of the Haruka and Michiru fanbase, but you see more of the Hotaru fanbase alot more often).

erm, out of the inners, i like sailor moon and sailor jupiter the most. as for the outers, i like sailor neptune, and now i'm beginning to like sailor uranus instead. the starlights i like starfighter. i don't like sailor chibi-moon. for some reason, i don't like Kakyuu.
When I look in your eyes, I am drawn into them. Because my heart is beating so quickly, I know this is real. This heartache is too much, I've grown tired of it. Your smiling face is too brilliant. If we had met earlier. All I can find is that excuse.

If I had to pick favorites, they'd be:
Ami (She has a bit of trouble expressing herself, although she sometimes lets things slip like "Mamoru seems to be popular with men" in the R movie and is embarrassed by them. She makes me sad sometimes, seeing how closed up she gets.)
Chibi-Usa (I like how direct she can be and how easily she makes friends...Usagi has these same qualities, but Chibi-Usa especially in SuperS seems a bit less ditzy than Usagi)
Haruka (She marches to the beat of her own drummer...She isn't afraid to live the way she feels inside, even if it means she's mistaken for a man often...I think somewhere in the manga she was said to have a personality that is both male and female, or something close to that...)
Usagi (Once again, directness and ease in making friends, but more so than most of the others, she just expresses herself naturally...whatever she's thinking or feeling at the time, she just goes with it...it can be as much a liability as an asset, though. And she also cares very deeply for her friends, family and Mamoru.)

Favorites:

Rei. I love her attitude, her tough-as-nails facade, her "I'll say what I want to, when I want to" act. Red's a pretty color, too. ^^ She has more compassion than she lets on. She's one of my favorite anime characters ever--not just in Sailormoon.

Michiru. I don't exactly understand why people call her perfect. Sure, she's talented and hardworking, but there are characteristics of her that might make her unpleasant or unlikeable... unideal. She's a lesbian, which is a stupid reason to hate someone, but it's a "flaw" I suppose. Anyways, I think she's completely awesome. I admire her complete passion about the things she enjoys. I love her cute little "I know more than you do" smirk. She's anything but submissive or deferential.

Least Favorite:

Ami: She's underdeveloped and a stereotype. She's one of those "ideal female" characters like Belldandy. Whatever the task is, Ami can do it. Caring, loving, pretty, smart. Perfectly fine without a partner. Blah blah blah... and the inners worship her, end of episode.

Favorite: Well, yes, I'm a Mercury fan. ^_^; She's smart, innocent, a little boring....kind of like me, but cuter. :p I admit her character seems a bit underdeveloped in the anime, but I really like her in the manga. And her anime self is cute, too. ^^

Least favorite: I must be the only person in the world who feels this way, but I'm going to say Venus. Why? Well...She just irritates me sometimes, and occasionally strikes me as selfish. I really didn't like the way she acted in the manga when she visitied Rei's school. But on the other hand, I admire her a lot more now that I've read Stars. When she spoke about dedicating her life to her princess, I just thought that was really noble of her. And she's cute, too. ;)

I also really like Chibi Moon and Saturn for some reason...probably because I think they're adorable, and their friendship (especially in the manga) is very touching.

Unlike most people, I like Usagi better in the anime. I just think she's cuter.

I still hate Moon and Chibi Moon. >_< They start taking over S and almost monopolize SuperS, pushing the other Inners into the background in the process...

Actually, I don't like her much either, but she's not my LEAST favorite, so I didn't mention it before.

In my opinion, yes it is. It's dull, way too overused, and an easy way out of characterization.

An ideal female is what women in Japan LOOK UP TO. so it makes perfect sense that they have at least one character in just abuot every anime that's that way. The little Japanese girls look up to those characters. I'm not saying it's good OR bad, but I'm simply explaining why it's so.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

I'm aware of this. I'm just tired of seeing it in every other anime I watch. I'm sure Ami's interesting to some people because they can relate to her, which is fine by me. I don't think she's a terrible role model or whatever, I just don't particularly care for role-model-ish characters because I don't really relate to them.

And, I'll be the first person to admit that Rei's somewhat of a stereotype herself. Proud, zealous, a little obnoxious sometimes in the earlier seasons, firey, bitchy. However, she has a deeper, softer, more sensitive side that makes her very different from all the other "firey/obnoxious/outgoing" characters out there.

They're all at least a little stereotypical, really...

Usagi and Minako are typical ditzy blonde characters, for example. Makoto starts out as the classic tomboy (though thankfully changes over time), Haruka's pretty much a walking stereotype, and Chibi-Usa, well...

Dude..if you're going to post a point, at least point something to go WITH it. Why? How? One sentence does little for a conversation.

Favorite:
I'd have to go with Makato. She's very tall, and can be mistaken for a tough person, but is really a sweet caring person inside- plus she controls my favorite element. :)

Least:
Hmm....it's a tie between the Moons and Minako.
Minako seems to be pretty bland in the anime (at least in the dub); she's more like a more tolerable verison of Usagi. I don't like Usagi, nor Chibi-usa. Usagi's rather annoying in my opinion, and Chibi-Usa is just a younger, yet ever so slightly less annoying(because she has pink hair and cute attacks :) ) version of Usagi. IMO, it would've been cuter if Chibi-Usa had been more like Mamaro(sp?) than Usagi, just more the sake of variety. Having two Sailor Soilders with almost the exact same abilities is ointless if you ask me.

Yeah, the dub really gave her the shaft. They cut out the one episode that explains her very tragic past, and they gave her little to no character development at ALL.

Hmmm, I don't have one favorite. Sailor Moon always cracks me up, she is just too cute in my opinion.

Sailor Pluto, is my fav though, she is just awesome! So powerful, seems omnipotent to me, and oy!, she's sexy as....well hell I dunno!

Of all the epsidoes DiC could've cut out to make the first season 40 episodes long in syndication (as opposed to the original 46), they just HAD to choose this one. It's one of the most important episodes in the entire series not about Usagi, and cutting it out made Mina seem like someone who came out of the blue for no reason like to help out Sailor Moon. Or at least that's how I felt when I first watched the dubbed version of Sailor Venus's debut.

Yeah, it seems the dub in general just screwed Minako over. They made her quite monotonous and just...boring most of the time. She was just sort of "there" whenever I watched the show.
