DART Sailor Moon CCG

Post by Guest » Sat Nov 29, 2003 12:35 am

Did the DART Sailor Moon CCG do well? Did anyone collect it? Uh, I think it got out of print, but did anyone collect it? (I thought it was poorly done, I mean "Mercury Bubbles Blast a.k.a. Bubble Spray" isn't anywhere as strong as "Moon Tiara Magic a.k.a. Moon Tiara Action")

I believe I have the starter set for it. Saw it at a flea market at the NY State Fair when I was there to march in a parade and picked it up. Don't know if it's DART or not, it's at my house and I'm at my parent's until Sunday, and I never really played it ever, just one of those things I bought for the hell of it, something I like to call the shiny factor. ^^;;;;

Yeah, same with me! No one plays that, its all Yu-Gi-Oh where I live :( . I bought a whole bunch (over $200 worth of cards), but no one buys, or uses them.

Local comic shop has a lot of them, so I'm guessing they still make them.

Oddly, a few of the cards use monsters/scenes from episodes that were cut from US airings.

This was the last CCG I would ever purchase (have a few cards from Marvel's OVERPOWER, POKEMON, and DRAGONBALL Z CCGs), and I liked it. I have a good little collection going, and am trying - in vain, it seems - to complete my collection, especially with a few of those ultra rare cards ^^;;

Yeah i noticed that to. most dubbies were probably wondering if these were made up. It was one of those a/o (American version/Japanese version) where they combine the jap. plots with the dub, similar to those cheap "Uncut Dubs" that Pioneer makes. What really makes me not likme the CCG is that they use american artwork for some cards.

I have a small collection of Sailormoon CCG cards. I focused on the Venus ones. ^^;

I haven't bought any in more than a year. Maybe even two.

I also have a bunch of the pointless shiny cards, the ones without a game.

Is this the one that had the theme decks to each of the "scouts"? If so, then I got a few decks. I got the Starter Deck and the Sailor Mars deck.

I noticed the undubbed ep. thing, too. I have a card with the youma from ep. 2 (I think. The tarot youma who hypnotized Umino and everyone else. The Skirt-flip episode.), and they even named her. I can't remember what it is, though.

Would anyone know where I could purchase those "theme" decks? I purchased the Starter and Tuxedo Mask decks, and would like to inquire into the others, as well.

it mostly depends where you live. theres places like "The Comic Stop" or "Game Stop" that sell cards. "Wizards of the Coast" is a great place to get any CCG/TCG that you can think of.

HA! I play this game! I even have most of the edition 1 cards, and a Past & Future starter. Sadly the game was more or less neglected by DART, and it died after the Past and Future expansion. I'm a fairly avid CCG player (Decipher Star Wars, Magic: the Gathering, and Middle Earth, another dead game) so if anyone ever wants to play, I'll see if I can find the apprentice patch for the game. I know one exists.

We should all learn the ruls and have a SMU tourney.

I remember the days when everyone used to collect these! I didn't buy any though! I've got some Japanese cards in my collection, however!

Awesome! You wouldn't by chance have a Sailor Pluto, would you? I'll trade you for it.

Are you talking to me? As far as Sailor Moon goes in my card collection, I've only got the 2001 Sailor Moon World part one collection. And I'm not even finished collecting that one yet. I do have doubles though if you want to trade.

My younger sister has a BUNCH of the cards, however, they're all booster-deck...things...*doesn't know the terminology* The one's where you get 11 cards per pack. She has over 60, not counting repeats. Unfortunately, nobody knows the rules around here, so none of us can acutally play the game. She's just "collecting" them now. She displays them in those clear plastic card sleeves. I take the cool ones she has extras of.
