This is a clear example of the kind of community we do not want to run.Jeff wrote:Well, I expect this topic will be shortly locked, but before it is I'd like to say thank you for getting episodes for free on YouTube while the rest of us did our best to support the short-lived uncut releases.
I'm sure Naoko will be thrilled.
In response to a simple topic I posted to advertise this website, I was immediately criticized for being a fan of the metaseries who had no choice but to resort to watching the show on YouTube because it has not aired in my location in more than ten years. The "intelligent" individual who criticized me for it clearly must have no life since he seems to think that the point of lifelessly watching the uncut releases is some rite of honor. Well, news flash to that individual: not everybody makes anime characters a part of their lives, and nor do they regard them so passionately as you do. I'm sure Naoko Takeuchi doesn't mind if anyone watches the shows on YouTube, considering all five seasons are literally available there in both languages. Wake up, sir.
In my experience as a webmaster, I have had the typical misfortune of running into forum combusters who just so happen to run privately owned websites. In the particular case of Sailor Moon oriented websites, they are supposed to promote the show, not somebody's personal bias toward others' work or contributions. Unfortunately, some of the less mature happen to run the community at Sailor Moon Uncensored, which seems to be a congregation of people and administrators who probably only think one way.
Again, this is the kind of community we will never run at *Link removed by mod*. We will never fancy or even fathom an ad hominem contrived website that inhibits people from expressing their views about the show itself or even trying to advertise their own website and/or fanfictions for the entertainment of the Sailor Moon online community.MarioKnight wrote:ADMIN MODE:

Need I say more? Seriously, you would think since these forums have a bit more involved process with making and activating accounts, one would read the rules before making their first post. -_- Topic locked.
-lock-
If anyone has a website or a fanfiction of their own that they would like to advertise here, by all means please do it. We will never castrate you for being constructive.
