Usagi's first kiss

In episode 22 could be seen Usagi's first kiss. In episode 89 is Usagi kissing Mamoru again. But in episode 94 Unazuki asked Usagi if she ever kissed Mamoru and Usagi don't answer. Is there possibility Usagi
never kissed Mamoru? Or is this one of SM anomaly?

Yeah, that's about the way it happened. She got embarrassed and didn't answer Unazuki, and Unazuki just assumed that her blushing and silence meant "no."

And for the record, there were a couple of times in between those two particular episodes that they kissed. One was at the point when Chibi-Usa shows up, and one was at the point when they got back together after their break-up. There may be another one that I'm just not remembering at the moment.

Some people just get embarrassed by that sort of thing more easily than others. It's not the only time that Usagi gets embarrassed on that subject. In the S movie, when Luna asks Usagi about kissing, Usagi also get embarrassed.

Exaclty what Jeff said. In the R movie, when usagi and mamoru are stealing a kiss behind the flowers, the other senshi are spying on them. As soon as Mamoru knows they're watching, he blushes and backs off. It's simply more of a private thing.

Well I dunno about you but I sort of liked the fact that they display kissing as something that is viewed as private. PDA to me shouldnt be more then a light kiss, hand holding or walking arm in arm. But some people take it to a level thats ridiculos, I mean you may as well play porn music in the back.

Plus given the fact that Usagi is only 14 maybe 15 and not from a culture where "The hoochie factor" is great, I think its sweet that she is embarrassed to talk about her and Mamoru's kissing.

Yea, I like it that Usagi and Mamoru don't go farther than a light kiss not only that but I also like that Usagi doesn't kiss and tell.

Besides the culture thing, sometimes people are just plain embarassed to talk about certain aspects of their love life, sometimes with a reason and sometimes without. Although, I'm sure the culture thing is the main reason in this situation.

*nods* For me, I don't even like hugging or even kissing relative on the cheek in public. My reason is simply because I feel uncomfortable, even though in my culture it's acceptable. I also would not be comfortable with kissing or hugging someone who I am in a relationship with. I'd probably go the UsagiXMamoru route, keep it private

The Usagi Mamoru route?!?!! You get drunk at a masquerade ball and let a guy take advantage of you on the balcony while you're passed out?!?!? Just kidding, just kidding. I understand what you meant. I'm sort of the same way. I don't mind hugging as much, but kissing and being kissed by relatives is uncomfortable for me. As for someone I'm in a relationship with...I don't really know about my feelings on that. It's not everyday that I'm playing tonsil hockey with some chic. Anyways, back on topic...I really think that Usagi might just feel the slightest discomfort with discussing her relationship, whether culture plays a part or not.
