Do the villians get stronger each season?

Post by Jermyn » Thu Sep 13, 2007 7:55 pm

I was wondering since Sailor Moon and Sailor Senshi seem to get stronger every season. So does that mean that the villian group of each following season was more powerful and a bigger threat then the last?

Depends on how you look at it, I think all the villians had their strengths and weaknesses. And the show made many of them bumbling in each season as well. But I do think towards the end the villians take on a stronger more fearsome quality. Specially in stars Galaxia and her animates give the sailors a run for their money. And Nehelina who was also in the Supers Series gives them trouble as well.
"Have you been half asleep? And have youve heard voices?
I hear them calling my name."
Is this the sweet sound, that calls the young sailors?
The voice maybe one in the same.
Ive heard it too many times to ignore it,
its something that I sposed to be..
Someday we''''ll find it, the rainbow connection
The lover, the dreamer, and me..."

from what I could tell the villians got stronger.

This is easily seen in the beginning of sailormoon s. The first damon beat the living crap out of the sailorsenshi until uranus and neptune showed up.

I think that whenever the first monster-of-the-day of a series shows up, Luna says something like "several times stronger than our previous enemies!!" Even though by SuperS and Sailor Stars the daily monsters are more comical.

I think that they do because of the sailor's need for a power-up at the beginning of a new enemy. This can also be flawed too because it may not be that they are not strong enough but maybe that their type of power may not be the right kind for their enemy. ex: star, super, cosmic, and eternal. Also this brings me to something I've always wondered; what if like super sailor moon or eternal sailor moon faced beryl or the death phantom?
