Oh yeah, remember when that cat fell in love with that human? Or that whole 4th season that was like a Lisa Frank wet dream? Totally intense.

Just because Sailor Moon has a few things that are considered "iffy" in western culture, in a *few* episodes (not as constant themes), doesn't make it an adult series. Check out the Japanese marketing if you want proof of that.

And Adlut Swim is ment to hold shows that are made for people at the ages of 14 to 17. That means Adlut swim is for Teens & Mature people.

That can be the reason way Sailor Moon should be on Adlut Swim.
Um, sweetheart? OBVIOUSLY a lot of us have seen the Japanese version. It's pretty damn obvious that I have, since I, you know, run a website that COMPARES the two versions. =P

And the original sailor moon was NOT. AIMED. AT. TEENS. It was aimed at girls from around 4-12. Twelve is generally considered preteen, which is a far cry from 17-18 year olds. Here's a nice little source for you: http://www.usagi.org/~doi/smoon/

You have to remember that the japanese hold things in a far different standard than we do. Children's shows in GENERAL are more mature than the children's shows we have here. Children in Japan are accustomed to an entirely different culture and maturity level than ours. Nudity in an anime? Not a big deal over there. Neither are words like "damn", which is the extent of the cursing in sailor moon.

Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

Surely you jest. What 17 year old wouldn't love a Sailor Moon Kurukuru Food Shop, Cash Register, and Boutique

$50 for the Pizza Delivery Scooter? WTF!?

Mild language? Depends on the fansub; I don't think anything said by the cast of Sailormoon could be considered "mild", and if so, they could probably get away with it on Toonami.

Every now and then, a Japanese word that akin to "damn" slips out...I think it happens maybe TWICE? So yeah, something like that could easily be changed to "darn", since the Japanese usage of it itself is pretty damn mild.

Heh, pun intended? At any rate, yeah, "damn" can easily be made "darn" or something to that extent, but "damn" is really the least "offensive" thing uttered on Adult Swim.

You obviously have never played with a Barbie doll before if you think the nudity in Sailor Moon is explicit.
