Yeah, I got some painful lines. How about the entire North American dub. The voices were good in the first season and R (although the dialogue was horrible), and both the voices and dialogue sucked in S and Super S.

But, to me, all the lines in the dub are bad! Don't you remember all the horrible outdated slang they used? If I were to list it all, it would take months.

I'm generally not one to complain about the quality of the dub, since the subbed version is (or at least has been) also available, and a 'live and let live' attitude saves argument. But there is one change that stimulates even my weedy non-confrontational self into a curmudgeonly rage... and that is, specifically, the closing line of Episode 106 (the episode that goes into Haruka's past).

This episode was always going to be a nightmare to dub, considering the changes made to Haruka and Michiru's relationship. Changes were inevitable, particularly to the final line. For those who don't recall, this line is "I'm not going to let you go home tonight", a line that, for arguably the first time in the series, confirmed that Haruka and Michiru weren't just fond of each other but were actually in a relationship. Yes, this was clearly going to have to be changed to something more neutral, but must have taken a special kind of evil genius to come up with the replacement line: "Let's go and get some ice cream". If the dubbing of Sailor Moon has been a story of the subtle being replaced with the inane, this must surely be its pinnacle.

I JUST saw this episode for the first time a couple nights ago with Dan. I heard the last line and asked him what they dubbed it as cause I was really curious. He said he didn't remember, so we played the last line of the dub track and I'm like OMGLOL??!?!??!?!?

But hey, at least both are creamy, right?

I, too, also seem to have some sort of beef with how they made Pluto do her Dead Scream attack... Scream Is in the attack, but IT ISN'T MEANT TO BE SCREAMED!

Hell, they may aswell have made her do it like this:

gosh it think the worst for me was right after the outers turn super in stars and they redo their speeches and uranus says her speech and ends it by saying "acting gorgeous" ugh! i was like o_0 conceited much? its supposed to be acting with grace!

Ugh, Cartoon Network even used this as one of their promos. The delivery especially made it sound stupid.
