Me too. I was kinda shocked when Being listed it as his least favorite. Haruka and Michiru were (for me) the beginning of the awesomeness that was S. But, everyone has their tastes.hinoreisailormars wrote:Awww, S was my most favorite season. I just love Haruka and Michiru! ^.^ So they may be cold-hearted to the inners, but seeing them together is just so sweet. I love their relationship.
BTW, I JUST watched the last episode less than an hour ago. I won't go into a long review, but as a whole, Bishōjo Senshi Sērā Mūn shined through. From beginning to end, I couldn't think about skipping a single episode. Even the fillers were important for me.
Now listening to: Gorillaz: El Mañana

awesome review! i agree with you on usagi, she was the best character, and the most interesting. i do wish they would've given the other senshi more character development...i wonder if they doi n the manga? i just recently finished watching sailor moon (now ive seen it in English and Japanese) and i'm sad too =( i think i'l watch the live action, or try to get a hold of the manga.
Yeah, they get more character development in the manga. On a discussion on another board I belong to, we were talking about if the Sailor Moon anime were remade, and I said that if it were to be redone, they should give some development to everyone who isn't Sailor Moon. I think it's a good idea if even the side characters got some attention more than once or twice.artemis_is_my_dawg wrote:awesome review! i agree with you on usagi, she was the best character, and the most interesting. i do wish they would've given the other senshi more character development...i wonder if they doi n the manga? i just recently finished watching sailor moon (now ive seen it in English and Japanese) and i'm sad too =( i think i'l watch the live action, or try to get a hold of the manga.

Don't worry. It's not over. Ever watch Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon? That wasn't Sailor Moon's first time as a live action show. There was also Sera Myu (Sailor Moon musical).A different kind of Being wrote:Now I am very sad that it's all over. I feel kinda empty. I want more, but this is it

Most musicals ran about 2hours 15min in length (the first 2 each ran 90min). Briefly:
Sailor Moon Gaiden: Dark Kingdom's Revival (Beryl and Shittenou return, takes place during R, no Chibiusa)
Sailor Moon S: Usagi~Path of the Soldier of Love (Death Busters looking for the Talisman and target Ami)
Sailor Moon SuperS~Dream Soldiers, Love, to Infinity (The mysterious girl from the Dead Moon Circus is hurting Pegasus while the outer senshi suspect a girl from the circus, Miss Dream, is Hotaru/Saturn)
Sailor Moon SuperS Revision~Dream Soldiers, Love, to Infinity-Saturn's Revival Chapter (the name gives it away plus Nehelenia is the final enemy. Eternal Sailor Moon is in every single musical from here on out)
Sailorstars Revision (No Chibi Chibi. I've seen the premiere version of Stars and this one is better! Solar System and Starlights vs the Galactica Army)
Eien Densetsu Revision: The Final First Stage (Anza's last run as Sailor Moon. No Chibi Moon. Revision is much better than the premiere. Starlights finally find Kakyuu as Galaxia revives Queen Beryl)
Eien Densetsu Revision Senshuurahku (senshuurahku is the final day performance. It's Anza's final performance as Moon in its entirety! All the last day exclusive adlibs are in tact and there's crying. A graduation ceremony right after the show that's full of crying and Naoko Takeuchi makes an appearance (she hugs all of her senshi, such a sweet girl))
Shin Densetsu Kourin (No Starlights or Kakyuu, but both Chibi Moon and Chibi Chibi as well as King Endymion are there. Queen Beryl has been revived by Galaxia so that she may exact revenge on Sailor Moon along with Beryl's subordinates: The Amazon Trio)
Kaguya Shima Densetsu (Original story!! Comet Quartl is approaching earth again after having been repelled by the Silver Crystal many millenia ago. Dark Plasman uses Leah Ruby to lure Mamoru and the sailor senshi to Kaguya Island while Loof Merrow, who's kingdom Arutika was lost when the Silver Crystal repelled Quartl, aims to take back the earth)
Last Dracul Overture~New Transform! Path of Super Soldiers (Tomoe, part of an undead network, needs a star seed to make perfect life beings inside of the Sammael Flasks and create the Sammael Sword. He even enlists the help of his old friend, a vampire named Count Dracul (aka Dracula) Part 1 of a 3 part story arc)
Decisive Battle!! Forest of Transylvania Revision~Strongest Enemy! Secret of Dark Cain (The senshi were attacked by Tomoe. Dracul ended up protecting Sailor Moon in the end. The Sammael Flasks are gone. Now, Dracul's daughter, Vampiru, is out revenge. Gil de Reis and Marquis de Brinviller have turned the 4 girls, the Sammael Quartet, into their subordinates. The Quartet can't help but feel a connection to girl who feels familiar to them, a girl who lives in the future...the 30th Century, a princess. As if Sailor Moon doesn't have enough to deal with, there's another sailor soldier in the solar system! What's worse, the soldier of a binary planet, the sailor soldier of the planet Vulcan, is under the control of humanity's first murderer: Dark Cain. And now, Dracul is being revived...Part 2 of 3 part story arc)
Last Dracul Final Chapter~The Sealing of Super Planet Death Vulcan (The sailor senshi have a showdown with Dark Cain and Death Vulcan! Part 3 of 3 part story arc)
Birth! Princess of Darkness Black Lady (The four guardians of Crystal Tokyo (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Saturn) were unable to stop the Black Moon's attack on the city and Chibiusa has escaped into the past where high school girl Tsukino Usagi and her friends have spotted a UFO recently. Yes, this is the Black Moon arc of Sailor Moon R and it has the outer senshi, super inner senshi, and Eternal Sailor Moon! Pluto fans will be treated to Pluto's key scene from the manga (when she stopped time on Demando))
10th Anniversary Festival is split in 2 parts. The musical portion is "Aino Sanctuary" and is an original story, but with reused/rewritten songs. The favorite wrestler of the sailor senshi has been framed and the senshi must prove he's innocent, unaware that the Dark Sirius Corps plot reclaim what's rightfully theirs: the Silver Crystal. The second part is a talk show memorial featuring previous cast members.
Ken Yuen fansubbed most of the myus. He even has bonus videos (contain stuff like adlibs from the final day of performance and farewells), guide videos (similar to a making of type featurette), and fan appreciation events (where you'd meet new actors as well as Q & A corners and lots of music numbers in concert). If you look online, you can probably download:
Mugen Gakuen: Mistress Labyrinth (more complete remake of S with the Withces 5 and Mistress 9)
Starlights: Shooting Star Legend (remake of Stars, but with Beryl and the Shittenou)
Coming of Princess Kakyuu: Second Stage Final (similar to Eien Densetsu, but with more 4th stage songs)
Shin Kaguya Shima Densestu (remake of the original. The final musical)
