Favorite ED Song?

Post by MageNehelenia » Fri Aug 25, 2006 4:25 pm

Out of all the ending songs throughout the anime, which do you like best?

-Heart Moving
-Princess Moon
-Otome no Policy
-Tuxedo Mirage
-Watashi-tachi ni Naritakute
-"Rashiku" Ikimasho
-Kaze mo Sora mo, Kitto (softer version)
-Kaze mo Sora mo, Kitto (upbeat version)
-Moonlight Densetsu (episode 200)

I think my favorite is probably Princess Moon, Watashi-tachi ni Naritakute, or Tuxedo Mirage. I liked Kaze mo Sora mo, but I quit listening to the full version much after I heard the softer version from the first 6 episodes of Stars. And lately, I'm not sure why, but I've been getting "Rashiku" Ikimasho stuck in my head and running constantly.

On the other hand, I don't like Heart Moving very mcuh. I'm not sure why, either. XD

Well, heart moving is very romantic and it reminds me of the good old times when I used to watch the subbed first season on TV.

Princess Moon is also very nice, so pure and innocent.

Otome no policy makes me optimistic and happy.

Tuxedo Mirage makes me think of a beautiful world where all the senshi live happily.

Watashi-tachi ni Naritakute is probably my least favorite. It's too slow, but it's good to listen to when you feel like meditating and it's also a nice lullaby.

Rashiku Ikimasho is my favorite; it's so cheerful, catchy, optimistic, I can't find the right words to describe it.

Kaze mo... is more mature but it gives me hope somehow.

Favorites:

Heart Moving- I've always liked the lyrics and the animation that went along with it.

Watashi-tachi ni Naritakute- Beautiful song especially the full version, probably my favorite ending.

Rashiku Ikimasho- This one is the most fun to listen to.

Least Favorites:

Otomo no Policy- ok song, I think I only listened to it twice and stopped.

Princess Moon- Not a bad song, it's just that the animation sequence kind of freaked me out.

Let's see...

Heart Moving - I think this is a great song (especially when it picks up) and is the only one I listened to almost every time. It also has kind of a different feel to it because it's obviously used very early on when the series hadn't really developed its identity yet... the only regulars around during the very early episodes were Usagi, Luna, and Mamoru (kinda).

Princess Moon - I thought the song itself was pretty boring, and the footage wasn't any better. I only listened to it twice, I think.

Otome no Policy - Good song, especially the part where Usagi stops for a second, but it didn't interest me enough to listen to it more than a few times.

Tuxedo Mirage - I like this song. Seems rather quissential seeing as how near all the characters are included. "Tuxedo Mirage" bothers me because I have no what the hell that means, though.

Watashi-tachi ni Naritakute - This is easily my favorite. I also thought it was too slow at first, but the song grew on me by the third of fourth listen. The song itself is great, I really like Chibiusa's facial expressions (the second one where she looks into the sky is the best, but I also like the happy third ones), and the copyright 1994 at the end makes me nostalgic. I actually don't want to listen to it too much because it sucks whenever the effect of a song starts wearing off.

For me it is hands down Tuxedo Mirage! It is just so pretty!

Otome no Policy bored me after a few episodes though, and out of all the endings it was played the most. Personally I think they should've switched songs halfway through to Suki to Itte or something, I like that song better! : )

Well... for me...

Kaze mo just grew on me, and it's the one that if I start singing an SM song, it'll be the one I start singing. I don't know why it's the one that sticks in my mind, but it's my favorite.

After that, probably Tuxedo Mirage, followed by Rashiku Ikimasho. I just got bored of Otome no Policy. XD

My favorite ending theme is Rashiku Ikimasho. It's just a really catchy, fun and upbeat song to listen to and I love listening to it over and over again. My least favorite ending theme is Tuxedo Mirage. It's just a little too slow moving and dull for my tastes.

The only ending themes I really liked were Moon Princess, and Rashiku Ikimasho. The others were pretty, bland. And I liked Moonlight Legend as the final episode ending.

The worst of offender was Heart Moving. Talk about boring.

Animation-wise, they're all pretty nice. I actually like Heart Moving's animation, despite the fact I can't stand the song.

Ah yeah, I liked Moonlight Densetsu as episode 200's ED, too. Gosh, I can't believe I forgot to put that one on the list! XD

Moonlight Densetsu in ep 200 was awesome because it was the only time in the whole season you heard it.

Other than that I really like Tuxedo Mirage, and the 2nd one from SuperS (dont remember the name)

Well it was a special one-time thing, so... XD

The one thing that bugged me about though, is that they used Moon Lips version and not DALI's verison.

Id have to say my favorites were

Otome no Policy and Tuxedo Mirage.

The other songs just didnt interest me all that much. I remember one of them had enough potential messed up double meanings in it that I couldnt watch it without cringing. It was one of the SS seasons ending. The one with Chibi-usa and pegasus.

My favourite ED when I was growing up was Heart Moving, it's was in Swedish and I liked the animation and the music. Then I heard the Japanese and it was too "screamy" for my taste althugh it has great music and beautful lyrics.

Now, Otome No Policy is my favourite, I don't care much for the others (except MD in ep 200). OMP has catchy music, great singer and pretty good lyrics.

Okay now, this is gonna be good:

Heart Moving = I really really like this song, always. It must be one of the most romantic songs in the Sailor Moon series. The respective BGM is by far better, but the song is cute too. ^^

Princess Moon = Another cute and soft song. I think it's a bit cheesy, but it's superb nonetheless. I still like Heart Moving more.

Otome no Policy = Okay, an upbeat funny song, nothing really special about it, but still...good

Tuxedo Mirage = Aaah, I love the vocals in this one. Intense to the last second, a great song.

Watashi-tachi ni Naritakute = I don't like the vocals as much as the music itself. Unfortunately, the song's getting boring after awhile.

"Rashiku" Ikimasho = My least favorite of all the ending songs. It fits the atmosphere and it's upbeat, but it's not one I listen to very often.

Kaze mo Sora mo, Kitto (softer version) = Very soothing and romantic. I like it.

Kaze mo Sora mo, Kitto (upbeat version) = Like it a bit more than the softer version of this song. ;P

Moonlight Densetsu (episode 200) = Okay, I guess, but I preferred it as the opening to the first season, thank you.

So, in fact, I like the ending songs from the first Sailor Moon season and the one from the third the best. ^.-

Kaze mo, Sora mo, Kitto is not only my favorite ED song, but my favorite song of the whole series. I even sang it for karaoke once, though I flubbed a line.

Watashi-tachi ni Naritakute and Rashiku Ikimasho are my favorites. I LOVE the softness of Watashi ni, and the vocals are so pretty. I sing it all the time.

Rashiku Ikimasho is just plain FUN, and so damn upbeat and cheerful. It's very bouncy and fun to sing XD

i loved heart moving, mainly because it was the first ED and reminds me of the early episodes. but my favorites were Tuxedo Mirage and Watashi-tachi Ni Naritakute. they're so slow and beautiful, and i loved the animation for Watashi-tachi. Kaze mo sora mo kitto is also great. you know, now that i think about it, i pretty much loved them all. not moon princess though. that just annoyed me.
