Funny SUB lines...

haha, I had to... There's funny dub lines, now here you can say what lines from the original (I call it a sub okay?) you think is funny

I love it when Mamoru and Ami are talking in Labrynth of water, Ami the Targeted and they say soemthign about getting shots... the way Mamoru says I hate it... it's so hilarious. i crack up every time.

It's the scream that gets me. God, that's hilarious...

I also love the line from the SuperS movie where they talk about there being "more fun for adults", but I can't remember the exact line.

LMAO I notice that in SuperS, there are a lot of lines like that. I love when the Amazon Trio calls the senshi "pumpkins" all of the time.

This line is in Japanese, and I can't remember the English for it.

Usagi: "Mamo-chan no paati! Demo eigo..... Mamo-chan no paati! Demo eigo....... Mamo-chan no paati! Demo eigo....." *keeps going* I think the English was something like "A party for Mamo-chan! But, speaking English...." or something to that extent.

From the same episode:

Minako: "Nice to meet you!"
Rei: "H-hello!"
Ami: "I'm glad to see you!"
Makoto: "Thank you!"
I just love the look on Rei's face when Mako-chan says that.

Actually, it's "Mamo-chan TO paati." The translation is "A party with Mamo-chan! But English..." repeated over and over again.

Usagi- (in English) Nice to meet you!! Cream stew!! Don't worry! Big bowl curry!! (also when she gave that explination for cooking something, knocked those guys over and said "BOOOOM!!")

When Jupiter uses Supreme Thunder for the first time-

Jupiter- Supreme Thunder!! (Supurimu Sandaa!!)
Moon- Supurimu...Sundae?

Episode in R with virtual reality game (might be a bit off)-

Usagi- Oh look it's that virgin tea reality
Luna- That's VIRTUAL reality (or something like that)

In the second episode of Stars when Usagi was bragging loudly about having Mamoru's apartment key. Then she goes "hahaha who am I bragging to?"

Usagi is so funny...

And Tiff, that line from the SuperS movie with Uranus and Neptune is something like

Neptune- They don't need this. Why would anyone want to stay a child forever? You can do so many more fun things as an adult? Right? *looks at Uranus*

Can someone who is fluent in Japanese clear that up? (and by fluent, I mean someone who can speak it in conversation and write it, not someone who looked it up on some random SM site)

I'm taking Japanese class (first-year, first-semester so far, but getting there, so I can kind of speak and write it) and I just checked that part. It's DEFINITELY "Mamo-chan to paati." "To" is a particle in Japanese that means "with" or "and." "No" is a possessive. "Mamo-chan no paati" means "Mamoru's party." Usagi's not stupid enough to think that Mamoru is hosting the party; she's glad to be going WITH him.

I have to agree with Rainbow here...she know's it's not Mamoru's party; she's excited because she's going to a party, AND "Mamo-chan" is going to be there. I just watched the clip to make sure, and yeah, she says "Mamo-chan to paati!". That part's so cute :)

Another line that I found humorous was Zoisite saying "Oyasumi nasai, Mamoru-chan". The delivery of that line was priceless.

thanks for clearing that up. I know the difference between "no" and "to", but it just really sounded like "no" to me. And I know what it all means. I just wanted to make sure I was hearing incorrectly.

He says "stepping stones", I believe, which I think is an actual game in Japan, but for kids or something.

I love it when Tomoe breaks the phone from laughing so hard and she tells him it's coming out of his paycheck XD;
