Yeah, kind of like how when it came to the Outers it was always about Uranus and Neptune, hardly any Saturn or Pluto.

I know I should read the previous pages to see if someone has mentioned this but I'm kind of in a hurry so sorry it it's been posted.

This isn't anything in "general" but I watched episode 56 today, the one with the Snow White play.
I got a bit annoyed that Usagi transformed about 2 feet away from Naru who had tripped and fell on the other girls, it appeared that she was still concious so she should have at least heard Usagi scream. Also, Usagi transforms at the right on the stage and when she is finished she comes up from underneath the stage on the left (I think). o_O

Edit: Sorry Tiff. ^_^ I knew I shouldn't have posted in a hurry before I went to bed. I checked the previous pages and I didn't see it being posted, I could be wrong though. -_-;;

A few things on the Ayakashi Sisters, both in the original anime and in the dub.

First, why in the name of all that is sacred did the creators of the anime have to change their interests? They're called the Ayakashi Sisters for a reason, and that was because they were into "weird" stuff, like UFOs, ghosts, and other paranormal stuff. To take them and make them into shallow, self-absorbed brats who love clothing and make-up really ruined them, IMHO. What was the point of that change?

Secondly, why the hell did DiC have to change their ages? In the original (and the manga), the Sisters' order was

Petz
Calaverite
Berthier
Cooan

And yet DiC, in their infinite wisdom, had their birth order as

Katzie
Prisma
Avery
Bertie

It's never really explained in the dub why they felt the need to change their ages (unless they went by the order the sisters were introduced in the R arc). Seriously, WTF?

Also dub-related, is it just me, or are the sisters made to be bitchier towards each other in the dub than they were in the Original? Watching R subbed, I saw they fought and clashed, but it came across to me as being sibling rivalry and their all just being sisters. The dub Sisters always struck me as being bitchier and more inclined to backbite and snark than they were in the sub. Of course, almost all the characters were made meaner in the dub, so I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case here too.

Oh, Gods. The changes made to the Ayakashi sisters get my dander up. They were excellent characters in the manga as they were, and were good in the original anime, in spite of the change made to them (point #1 up above). So why change them?

The dub version was notorious for making character personalities differ from their originals to. And I will agree that the sisters in the original anime were way closer. I also think they were even closer in the manga to. They had the same goals as well. But that bothered me about the bad guys in general. Being crossed over their powers were nerfed, they were more proned to fighting each other then the enemies and it bugged me. Specially the witches 5 those girls were tough, they didnt fight with each other at all in the manga cause they were too busy giving the Senshi a run for their money.

And im sorry the Ayakashi sisters were so much stronger and badassed to me in the manga. They took out nuns and the like, I know its a kids show basically so they had to take that stuff out but man I really felt like they were a good rival group against the inners then they were in the anime. And even though they died to me since they were so bad it was cool to see it happen.

I think maybe Sailor Pluto was send back in time with the third Talisman without knowing every detail. Maybe Usagi knew they needed it in the past but Pluto as just being the guardian of time didn't know, I doubt she knows the entire history of the sailor senshi just because she guards time.

What I always thought is weird is how Usagi is 16 at the end of the show? In every season we can clearly see how it goes through the different seasons, mostly starting at the beginning of spring and ending in winter, if you go by that shouldn't Usagi be 18 at the end of Sailor Moon?

A general thing that just annoyed me about supers. Why couldn't the dead moon circus ever figure out that Pegasus was hiding in chibi moons dream I think that the fact that she called Pegasus every time they faced a Lemure should been a hint I mean how stupid are these villains!!

Well no not nessarily.

The first season starts with Usagi is 13 and in the spring (Naru mentions spring showers in like the 6th episode) The season ends some time in the winter. R starts two months later (I think Luna or Artemis mention it having been two months since the Senshi had lost their memories) All of R seems to take place late February-Late March/Early April. S begins in April (the start of the Japenese school year) and ends somewhere in July. SuperS start probably not much after S ends and takes place in July and August. And there's a big break in between, and Sailor Stars doesn't start until April again and ends sometimes after Usagi turns 16. So post June.

I still don't think it was that big of a gap for Usagi to go from 13 to 18. Most of the series' went by fairly quickly.

One thing that annoyed me about the dub was its treatment of religion was rather inconsistnent when you think about it. Like the dub had no problem mentioning that Raye worked at a temple as a priestess, but would changes the names of the Messiah and the Holy Grail, and made it look like Raye's spiritual powers were her Scout powers by turning her talismans into an attack. But then they had no problem directly referencing the soul in the Power Of Love song and also referencing prayer in the song Nothing At All.

That always bothered me. You see her use her scroll thing before she even gets her scout powers. She uses outside of being a Scout all the time. As a Scout they called it Mars Fireball Charge. But I never saw a fireball anywhere.

The way they left out two whole levels of transformations (and one attack) for everyone except Moon herself. Also Mercury, since they adapted her Exam Battle from the manga (but didn't do the same for the Jupiter and Mars/Venus stories that went with it. Shame, too, I loved the Jupiter one) complete with the use of her S-era attack...

Frankly I just never liked Tuxedo Mask, I mean he was one the lamest character I can think of, and he was completely perdictable.

1.Throw Rose
2. Spout Bad Poetry
3. Get a** hand to him
4. Rinse, Lather, and Repeat

Also in my opinion in the anime he treat Usagi like crap, I mean he breaks up with her in R without really explaining why, and in Stars he just tell her he going to the US to study without really determining her feeling about it.

Frankly I think they spared us the frustration of dealing with him in Stars.

I don't want to go and demolish your theory, but I'm pretty sure that each season was meant to take place over roughly a year. You can basically see a change in the seasons (times of year, not seasons of the series). For example, it is snowing in the episode with Viluy during S so S cannot take place during June/July. And you see them change between their different school uniforms throughout each season of the show. Actually, to tell the truth I don't think you can determine how much time passes throughout the show because there's a newspaper in season 1 that says 1992, and in Stars there's a sign for the Three Lights concert that says 1996. That always did annoy me how inconsistant the passing of time was throughout the show.

Anyways something that really annoys me was how in the 30th century Usagi and Mamoru decide to go by the names they had in their past lives. What the hell if I found out that my name used to be Joe in a past life I wouldn't start going by that name. And second literally who died and made them King and Queen? Their former lives were royalty but in their current lives they are of no royal bloodline.

Yea that annoyed me and confused me. And then in the dub they call them Princess Serena and Prince Darien. Confusing much?

In general I did not like how they made Mamoru in the dub a model. I dunno, but the Doom Tree Arc annoyed me in a way. Mainly because En gets in the way of Usagi trying to get Mamoru to remember and when he does, they pretty much have only one episode where they're together, Chibi-Usa then comes in. Then the next episode, they break up that really irritated me.

That's something that really annoyed me about the dub not only that but it was confusing to because I thought that they were never reincarnated just sent to the distant future and adopted and then when they showed flashbacks of them as little kids like in the R movie I was confused as hell

What bothered me was how Neo-Queen Serenity struck me as sorta...I don't know what word I'm looking for...dictatorial maybe. The way she banishes the Black Moon Clan for resisting purification. I mean that doesn't sound like a terrible crime, maybe they wanted to remain like normal humans. But she decides to send them to a far-off hidden-away planet. Maybe I misunderstand her motives, but that bothered me.
