I would have like to see the Senshi's families and at one point all the parents found out about their powers.

i know, whats up with that?! what was the point of having new attacts if they're never going to be used?

The way every episode has a two-minute or so scene involving the villains at their lair gets really old. It even brings things down in S despite the fact that Tomoe kicks ass, but those scenes in R... ugh. Those scenes were so boring that they actually got me irritable. I hope that SuperS and Stars are better in this regard.

Out of curiosity why do you dislike these glimpses into the villains? I personally like it because it helps create characters for the Villains and makes them far more interesting. I mean without them Tomoe wouldnt have nearly been as awesome (the twister scene was genius). Kunzite and Zoicite's relationship would've never really existed and other stuff from Stars and SuperS
Favorite Senshi: Saturn and Jupiter
If I had a Henshin phrase it would be: Dragon Master Power! Armor Up!

NOPE. Sorry to burst your bubble. In SuperS it gets to the point that you want to rip your hair out. Then again, the Dead Moon villains tend to actually do more when they are in their evil lair, but it's mostly just stupid stuff.

In Sailor Stars it isn't much better, with Galaxia basically sitting on her ass for most of the season a la Queen Beryl, but the music isn't as ear-splitting.

/off-topic

What really annoyed me about Sailor Stars, and this is just pretty random thinking, is the way the Sailor Animamates didn't usually seem the least bit upset or surprised that they didn't get a real star seed. Sailor Iron Mouse, in particular, typically just babbles some nonsense and then disappears. I feel like yelling, "Galaxia gon' keel you!!1"

I have to disagree with you there. In Stars we didn't see nearly as much of Galaxia as we see of other villians. We don't end up seeing her in every episode the way we would Beryl, Tomoe, etc.
It's a shame too, I think we could've seen much more of her, and I like the music they play for ther the best!

Hey, that would actually be pretty neat.

I'd have liked Chibiusa to have a less annoying dub voice >> I can never find anything subbed without going to sketchy stores that I need my friend to get me to, so I got pretty much stuck watching the S dub on YTV, so a lot of the dubbing quirks is what annoyed me.

It also annoys me how they kept calling Saturn evil, Saturn is NOT evil/going to destroy the world, she just COULD destroy the world if she WERE evil.

Actually, she could destroy the world without being evil. =P One of her attacks destroys the world, but it's not an evil attack.

And honestly, she DID have an evil being INSIDE of her...so at times, she was, in fact, evil (before purified/reborn by super sailor moon, of course).

I thought it was unfair when Yaten harped on Minako for being at an idol audition. It was somewhat hypocritical considering he was a member of a pop idol group! I mean, I know they were singing to find their princess, but singing is one thing. Personally I just don't see how an endless amount of merchandising, movie deals, etc. is really helping them to find their princess!

I guess maybe it's jut me.

I don't know why I JUST realized this, but it's really stupid.

Okay, so in Sailor Moon S, Uranus and Neptune really want those talismans. They go through a whole hell of a lot of anguish contemplating what retrieving them will mean. But in the episode where the talismans are revealed, Setsuna was right there, in their apartment. Why didn't she just say, "Lol hey guys, just kidding, you don't have to kill anybody." Or better yet, why didn't she appear 20 episodes earlier and just give them their talismans? It's not like she had anything better to do. I know that this would eliminate about half of the S season, but... It just really annoys me that none of it makes sense now, and never will, ever again, FOREVER. Oh, to have the innocent, trusting mind of a 12 year old. T_T

Maybe Setsuna knew that there was a good chance Hotaru would have to die in order to stop the silence, and to prepare Haruka and Michiru for sacrifice.

Seems unlikely, considering that they didn't really know anything about Hotaru until a few episodes later. And if she could really see that plot development, why couldn't she see that Sailor Moon would save her? Then again, she is pretty mysterious, with that, "If you find the real messiah..." line.

So maybe your theory is plausible, or maybe (and this is really more likely) Sailor Pluto is actually a sadistic, twisted person who takes pleasure in exacting psychological torture on those around her.

I like that theory, when you consider the fact she probably knows who the real messiah is and everything!

I've seen it argued that she doesn't want to mess up the timeline and that "certain things have to happen." But that is exactly what I used to think about Pluto and why I used to hate her so much.

But it doesn't seem like she necessarily LIKES doing that to Uranus and Neptune, maybe she feels like she has to? To me she seems like someone who has to do things she doesn't like, all for the sake of the timeline. Or something like that.

But of course DOES she know the future? Maybe she tries to not peek into the future of the other Senshi?

Maybe Pluto just forgot to tell them?

Maybe she wanted to make sure that Uranus and Neptune would truly stick to their mission and not back out when they discover that it's the two of them who have the tailsmans. They spent the first half of S saying "We must sacrifice people blah blah blah, it's the only way blah blah blah, I'm willing to kill three people to save everyone else."

Maybe she wanted to see that they wouldn't become hypocrites when they learn that they're the ones who have to get snuffed.

"Uranus. Neptune. The Tailsman's are inside of you."

"._. .........................so, how about some of that teamwork and no sacrifice Sailormoon always talked about now."

Also, I've always wondered, even if Setsuna had told them, how would they have gotten the tailsmans out of them?

That's what I always thought. Their Pure Heart Crystals still needed to be extracted, and maybe Pluto didn't have that capability. Even if she did, she may have been trying to create a situation where Sailor Moon could get her hands on the Holy Grail. If they'd just stuck their three talismans together in private, I doubt Uranus and Neptune would have been willing to let Sailor Moon have the Holy Grail without any proof that she could use it.
Amazoness! Because men seldom make passes at girls who routinely kill men.
