Questions about Episode 113
I'm rewatching SMS right now, and I some questions regarding episode 113 (The House with Strange Feelings, The Mysterious girl Hotaru/The second Mimet episode)
1. The manga Mimet reads "Drop Drop", that's obviously a parody of "Candy Candy" right?
2. When Chibiusa talks about "her friend being cute, but frail", Usagi starts imagining Chibiusa visiting a boy in bed, who looks out the window to a dying tree. Does anyone know what this is making fun of? Because there was a scene just like this in an episode of Paranoia Agent. (Episode "ETC")
3. Does Kaorinite have all her memories from before? If so, why didn't she recognize Usagi?

Unimo, by any chance are you watching all of Sailor Moon S or just a few episodes?
I don't know the answers to the first two questions but the third question is a good one. Well from now on to the end of th series she is known as "Kaori" and not Kaorinite as she was before. Kaorinite was killed in the battle between the Sailor Senshi in Ep. 102. I believe that Professor Tomoe revived her some how and probably by doing that she lost her memories from before. This could explain why she didn't recognize Usagi because if she didn't lose any of her memories she would have noticed that this was the girl whom she targeted for a possiblity of having a talisman in her pure heart crystal.

I've been watching a few episodes each day. Today I'm on the fourth and fifth DVD.SailorMoonFan wrote:Unimo, by any chance are you watching all of Sailor Moon S or just a few episodes?
Yeah, I'm aware of that but it seems like she still has her memories. Mainly in episode 121, her little conversion with Prof. Tomoe seems to confirm this. It's just between episodes 113 to 121, she seems to have gone from a Death Buster to Tomoe's assistant/house keeper. (Which, may be what she was for awhile - according to Hotaru's flashback)Well from now on to the end of th series she is known as "Kaori" and not Kaorinite as she was before. It's just confusing to me that she wouldn't remeber Usagi.

Maybe she did remember but we didn't see her actually remembering her onscreen. But even if she did remember Usagi, to Kaori, I guess Usagi wouldn't be of no importance since she doesn't have a talisman in her pure heart crystal and since she doesn't see her as Sailor Moon because remember in Ep. 102 Sailor Venus used the Disguise Pen to transform to Sailor Moon and Kaori saw that. Maybe she thought something looked odd about how Sailor Moon (AKA Sailor Venus) looked but she probably just accepted. Hope that made some sense.

Questions about Episode 106 (Sailor Moon S)
Today for the 1st time I've watch Ep. 106 in Sailor Moon S called "Bonds of Destiny! The far-reaching day of Uranus". When the English dub of this episode aired I didn't tape it so I never saw it. This is my first time ever watching this episode and I have a few questions based on it:
1) Did Haruka always know that she was Sailor Uranus before meeting Michiru but tried to escape and ignore from it because she thought her life was going to change or did she realize it when she first met Michiru?
2) Near the end of the episode Michiru tells Haruka that she has always been watching her and developed a crush on her and when she met Haruka for the first time she knew that she was Sailor Uranus and she became happy. Is this right?

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

Re: Questions about Episodes
I see no need yet. There aren't THAT many questions/threads on the subject yet. If it gets to be too much, then I'll probably do that.Neon Heart wrote:Perhaps this thread should be made into a sticky?Tiff wrote:Please put all questions about any specific episodes of sailor moon in this thread. Re: Questions about Episode 106 (Sailor Moon S)
1. She didn't know she was Sailor Uranus before she met Michiru. She was having the same dreams that Rei eventually started having, and she knew she had a destiny, but she didn't want any part of it, so that was one of the main reasons she spent so much time racing. I remember her saying at one point she only raced to try to escape the destiny she knew was following her, and the races themselves didn't mean anything to her. Aside from the fact that she liked to run and drive.SailorMoonFan wrote:Today for the 1st time I've watch Ep. 106 in Sailor Moon S called "Bonds of Destiny! The far-reaching day of Uranus". 2. I believe she realized that Haruka was Sailor Uranus before she met her, and it was upon this discovery that she had to meet Haruka in person, if nothing else, to try to talk her into fighting. Otherwise I think that is about right.

OK, I just watched this episode again. I have 2 questions:
1) What did Michiru mean near the end when she told Haruka "I didn't investigate you because you were the other soldier?" Can someone go into that a little bit more? Thanks.
2) We know that Haruka had dreams about her destiny but did Michiru did too?
Ok, maybe I'll just take a shot at your questions ^^ If something is wrong, please tell me.
I fail to answer question number two, but for the first one:
Yes, Michiru did indeed investigate Haruka because she was the other senshi, but I also think that she did so because Michiru already loved her.

Re: Questions about Episode 113
As others have suggested, it doesn't matter if Kaolinite retained her memories or not - she wouldn't think Usagi was Sailor Moon. She was fooled by Sailor Venus posing as Sailor Moon, and left to fight Uranus and Neptune before Usagi revealed that she was actually Sailor Moon. Only her Daimon found out, and she was killed permanently.Umino wrote:3. Does Kaorinite have all her memories from before? If so, why didn't she recognize Usagi?
She was investigating Haruka before she realised she was a Sailor Senshi, simply because she was in love with her.SailorMoonFan wrote:1) What did Michiru mean near the end when she told Haruka "I didn't investigate you because you were the other soldier?" Yes, this is stated pretty much directly in the episode. Michiru's painting of the end of the world was apparently based on one of her visions.2) We know that Haruka had dreams about her destiny but did Michiru did too?
Amazoness! Because men seldom make passes at girls who routinely kill men.
You know in the first episode of SuperS when the enemies were gloating (very annoyingly I might add) how "they didn't notice, they didn't notice". Well, why didn't anyone notice? I mean, aside from the fact there's a tent that just a appeared out of nowhere, don't you think they would've at least noticed the black lightning, and the rather large explosion sound that occured the during the eclipse? This always annoyed me.

1. Looks like, although was there anything else about the manga that looked similiar?
2.There's also a scene like that in the episode where Musashi gets sick and is being overdramatic, with the dead leaves and... stuff.
No idea what it's supposed to mean. ^^;

>>>Lucario learns a move called "Tonbogaeri". This is a move in Judo feauturing a kick to the groin. Yes, they''ve actually made "Kick Him in the Nuts" an attack. It should SO do 150% more damage to male Pokemon. XD

i think (i may be wrong) that they mention at some point in super s that the reason no one can see the tent and stuff is because they don't belive its there. like their minds are too narrow to belive something weird is happening.usachan wrote:You know in the first episode of SuperS when the enemies were gloating (very annoyingly I might add) how "they didn't notice, they didn't notice". I wondered the same thing. I just started watching all of SuperS for the first time, and after the first episode, I nearly pulled my hair out and said, "HOW IS NOBODY SEEING THE BIG, CREEPY CIRCUS TENT? SOMEBODY CALL CNN!! THERE'S A BIG SCARY ASS TENT FLOATING OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW!"the*blue*girl wrote:

The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy explored the concept of the Somebody Else's Problem field, which could be used to hide an outlandish object in plain sight. It relied on people's unwillingness to consciously register things that were completely beyond their regular sphere of experience. Something similar seems to be going on with the tent... people must actually be able to see it, but somehow it doesn't register as problematic. Note that in the first episode of SuperS, Usagi actually did consciously register the tent, but seemed to forget it once her concentration was broken. The Lemures do drop some hints about the humans not being able to see them, but I don't recall there ever being a full explanation.

Well... later on they go inside the tent to the circus...
That being said I would assume they thought it was a good thing after that and failed to relate any bad things with the tent. Even after the Senshi went to the circus and got attacked they didn't really figure out the tent was their enemies hide out.
