New here, thought I'd tell you why I like SailorMoon

Hello Group,

One of my friend's suggested coming here to post SailorMoon. It's hard not to be talking to an eight year old in my city because most people only saw the DIC dub.

Like the Titanic, Star Trek and The Matrix, SailorMoon is one of those topics people regret letting me start talking about. I can rattle on for hours. Especially about Stars. My cat even looks like Diana. I have posters up and I feel SailorMoon is now very cult-ish in my city. Die-Hards only when it comes to the original Japanese and none of us want to admit it, except for me.

I got hooked because a Japnese friend of my sister brought over SailorMoon she had taped off television in while she was still living in Japan. Then another one of my sister's Japanese friends got me even more hooked PLUS got me into FushigiYuugi. I have all of the episodes of both series, all seasons plus movies qand specials. The only one I knowingly don't have is Episode 67 of SailorMoon because ADVFilms couldn't secure the masters.

Brief Outer Senshi work-up from my point of view: I love Pluto's life because she is isolated like me, strong and dominant, willing to help out and knows when to cross the line. I love Michiru because she has the best look and is me on a bad day. I want hair that colour, just to feel proud of attitude. I love Saturn because she is the strongest and battled her "illness" and overcame it. I also like Haruka's devotion to Michiru.
