I didn't really like Mamoru in the anime. Mainly in the first season, when he was such an asshole. Seriously, I can't believe how rude and downright NASTY he was to Usagi! Even on Mako-chan he was pretty rude. (Didn't he call her big girl or something?)
I mean, Mamoru is what about 18-19? And he's acting this way to young teenage girls? What a prick. Even without memories of the past he shouldn't be such a jerk. After wards he's too much of the "perfect boyfriend OMFGCOOLESTMOSTHANDSOME GUYEVAR!!!1". Pfft.
Ami completely sucks in the anime. At least in the manga, she was kind of funny and nice. She's waaayy too emo and perfect in the anime. Every single episode that focuses her are the same.

"Yeah, you're right. I need to study and lack a social life." - Ami
Another one would be Reika. In her very few appearances in the manga, she was always lots of fun and upbeat. In the anime she's way to bland and lifeless. I'm a bit iffy on Motoki. I thought he was *a bit* more important in the manga. He's one of the few who discovers the Sailor Senshi's true identities.
Aside from them, I like most the characters in the manga/anime equally. Though, I do admit all the villains are WAY cooler in the anime! (Though, manga Galaxia OWNZ anime Galaxia but that's just me)
