I think this is the best dub song. This played in english episode 61. I know the staff at SMU hate this but I love this. It has that battle theme to it. I watch a music video with this song at least once a day. I LOVE this song.

I like this song too!
The only problem the song really has is that there is only 2 verses then he just keeps saying "shes got the power" for about a minute 30

Oh BTW what music video is that, and where is it?

Please don't make generalizations of anyone on this site. I cannot speak for the other staff members, but I LOVE this song; it's my favorite from the dub, and one of my favorite Sailor Moon songs overall.

I like almost al of the songs on both of my English soundtracks (which is why I bought them years ago). Even the ones that most people think are cheesy.

Me too... I got the first dub soundtrack, before I had seen the original BSSM. =P

Best dub songs for me on the first CD are My Only Love, Carry On, and Rainy Day Man. I actually like My Only Love better than the original song for that scene ^^;

I remember I figured out how to play them all the on the keyboard... the chords are actually really simple. Then I proceeded to drive my mom nuts playing them all the time.

I hate She's Got the Power though.... oh my god. its probably my 2nd least favorite next to the dub version of Ami's song -_-;;;;;

On the second CD I liked... Power of Love, Somebody to Love (shut up.. its catchy), and Nothing at All. And of course the Japanese songs.

oh, and WTF @ Daddy's Girl? O_O

I didn't care for She's Got the Power.

My favorite is "I Want Someone to Love", and it's not even in an episode, only on the Lunarock CD. I also liked the cover of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", "Carry On", "My Only Love", and "Power of Love"

That's supposed to be Lita's song? I always thought it would've been Rini's song if anyone's. Not like it fits any of the Sailor Scouts to begin with, though. I personally don't like She's Got The Power myself. I used to like it in my younger dubbie days but now the singer's annoying boy-band wannabe style of singing gets on my nerves, but it wouldn't be such a bad song if they just didn't repeat the same lines over and over again. I'll take Ai no Senshi over She's Got The Power any day.

I never really liked "She's Got the Power". I get a really bad mental image when I imagine the singer.

But, I do like the song "I Wanna Be a Star" which is even cheesier, I don't know it's just got a catchy tune

Others that I like are "My Only Love" "It's a New Day" "Carry On" "Rainy Day Man" "Power of Love" "I wanna hold your hand" "Who do you think you are" (yeah I know) The Japanese songs and "Nothing at all"

So I pretty much like all the English songs to some degree.

I think that the song was good, but only when it was in the show. Without the action on screen it just dosen't work as well, mainly because of the repeting of "She's got the power." If the song was 3-4 verses long insted of only 2 and it had a longer chorus the song would probalby be one of my favorites (I think it had a nice beat and nice use of guitars).

BTW, dose anyone else imagine that Rubeus is the singer? Seeing as how DIC wanted us to imagine certain chacters doing the vocals of other songs (Seerna: My only love, and Carry On, Lita: Rainy Day Man, etc) it could make sense, plus I think its F****ing hilarious to imainge Rubeus wailing into a mike like a boyband reject.

"Taste the fire of the Negamoon!" (While Negamoon is lame, hearing him say "taste the fire" was really cool)

Now, now, now...thats way to simple for anime. More likely senario: after expouser to the Black Crystal (Yamishou?) the "good" half of Crimson Rubeus fragmented off into the universal aether, and it is the one cheering on the Sailor Senshi as they fight against his evil half.

Now that's more needlessly complicated! ^_^

Ah, thank you, I'm always glad to expand my random Japanese vocabulary.

Yeah, but you can now laugh your ass off in that episode. Plus the fact that he looks like he's from a pop band makes it all the funnier.

Edit: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! I just discovered the funniest thing about this song, I started playing it in MPC and I hit the "Increase Speed" button. It causes the song play fast, but it makes the singer sound like a Chipmunk...Now I'm thinking of Alvin Seville dressed as Rubeus singing the song. (The other chipmunks are playing their instruments: Simon dressed as Saphir [Bass Guitar] and Theodore dressed as Esmarude [Drums].)

I just can't stop laughing.
