Thanks, Aya-san.

And now that I have watched this, all I can say is OH MY GOD. Aside from laughing my ass off at it. I showed it to my sister too, and she had the same reaction.

I thought it was absolutely disgusting. Yet, it was kinda funny at the same time.

I once showed it to an aunt of mine. Not only did she experience the same reaction, she also RECOGNISED some of the laughs in the video.

I must be alone here in thinking the idea was almost a decent one.

Looking back at that promo video, I would describe it as Batman & Robin-campy.

^Why did I just get sudden images of Sailor Moon attacking a bad guy with a big "POW!" thing coming up? XD

Now that's a version I wouldn't mind seeing. :P

(Just kidding guys)

Blackat, nooooo! xD;;;
Though... kinda funny... xD;

... Ew, that reminds me of the Pokemon dub's bizzare obsession of removing impact stars from previous episodes and using them to cover punches to the face and such.

I noticed in this video a girl in a wheelchair. o__x And that made me REALLY laugh. What the heck? Why did they decide to put a senshi in a wheelchair?
Was that a lame attempt to copy off of X-men or something?

My god, of course you are! This clip makes DiC and Cloverway look like they are the best dubbing companies in the world! This was just plain HORROR! And it was creepy when they all got together and started doing this creepy dance... :shock:

I just saw the promo for the first time.

It looks like a really bad version of She Ra with live action.

Im glad it never made it to tv. I probably wouldnt be into anime now.

I saw the promo, and almost choked on my doughnut. I couldn't believe my already corrupted mind could be corrupted further. :cry: All I have to say is, despite the crappy dubbing, thank GOD DiC got the rights, instead.

Although, when I saw the Toonmakers blurb pop up on the screen, phone number and all... I just felt SO tempted to call them up and just ramble. Lord knows about what, probably tell them off. xD;;

EDIT: Actually, watching the Toonmakers trailer, I can't help but say how their version is actually starting to rub off on me. It sucks in a way, because... I'm probably gonna get killed with sticks. But that isn't the point ^^; I actually am curious now to see what an episode or two of Sailor Toonmakers would have been like. Plus I like the song in the trailer. u__u;

That trailer is the most terrifying thing ever. I felt insulted watching it, they completely changed it up so it wasn't even THE SAME show. It just had the same name...minus the "Pretty Soldier"

:twisted: Yet it makes such a wonderful weapon.

Good dear lord.....

MY EYES! THEY BURN!

That version really sucks. The crrepy dance and the fact that a real life person turns into a cartoon character. After seeing it, I just want to crawl under a rock and die.

Oh, good grief...there is something so wrong with that, it isn't funny. Still, you gotta give it props on pure comedic value.

My opinion on it.

Post by Skull13 » Mon Sep 18, 2006 2:34 pm

I posted this on another forum website a couple of months ago, that had this as a topic. I was enraged when I heard about this. Using so many emoticons, mentioning my religion (I hope that mentioning religion isn't illegal on this website.), and cursing my butt off (Don't worry, it was all censored.). Here's what I said.

WHAT THE F**K!!!!!! TAKING A GOOD F**KING ANIME SHOW AND F**KING IT UP EVEN FURTHER!!!!!!! DIC WAS F**KING BAD, BUT THIS IS COMPLETELY F**KED UP!!!!!!! AS FOR THE F**KING FA**OT WHO MADE THAT MOTHERF**KING PILOT, HE'S COMPLETELY OUT OF HIS F**KING MIND!!!!!! HE'S PROBABLY BEEN SMOKING AND DRINKING TO MUCH, THINKING THAT THIS F**KING IDEA WOULD GET HIM ON TOP!!!! HA!!!!! Phew, I feel better now that I've let all that anger out of my system. 8)8)8)8)8)8)8)

:(:( I'm sorry that my attitude was shocking, but I'm just saying how I feel. I'm pretty sure that some people might be feeling the same as I do. :x:x Even if I did go too far. :lol::lol::D:D:):):(:( Once again, I apologize to the people who were offended by my comments, especially to God.
If showing my old response is breaking any rules, then I apologize and will get rid of it. With all these new rules compared to what I'm use to in Giantess City (The Sailor Scouts are even hotter as giantesses!), it's kind of difficult to figure out if I'm breaking a rule or not. Yes, I did read the Rules page.

That clip was a nightmare...

Thank goodness Toonmakers didn't got license for this!

It reminded me of Jem meets Princess Guenevere...

Looked like Baby-Sitter's club meets She-Ra and her four politically correct friends.
