Questions with regards to Rini/Chibi-Usa

I did read the forum rules and wasnt entirely sure if spoilers were against the rules on asking questions or anything about the series. Though it's just something I'm confused about with regards to Sailor Moon R (which I always considered till the other day thanks to the lack of change in titles by DiC was in fact just part of the original Sailor Moon series). I'll put it in spoiler tags just in case I guess

[spoiler]In the Episodes when the Sailor Senshi go back in time in the dub. It's revealed to them that Rini is in fact Serena and Darrens daughter, making Serena supposedly the future Princess Neo-Serenity. Yet from reading what is said in the comparisons of the movies I'm now confused, of what relation is the present Serenity to Rini/Chibi-Usa and how much more of Rini's backstory as a character is changed in the Dub?[/spoiler]

I don't think we would look too harshly on spoiling at least the comic and cartoon, as they have both been finished for a LONG time now and most, if not everyone, has seen this show in some form or another. I would imagine that only Stars MIGHT need to be spoiler-tagged, but it's up to everyone's individual preferences.

As to your comment, I assume you are talking about this:

For some reason, Rini keeps referring to Sailor Moon/Serena as "Mama". That's rather retarded since in the original, it's quite clear that to Chibi-Usa, Usagi and Neo-Queen Serenity are two TOTALLY different people. Usagi is Usagi, not her mom. Chibi-Usa treats and views Usagi more as a sister, definitely NOT a mother.

They key here is what's underlined. Usagi/Serena and Neo-Queen Serenity ARE the same person, but Chibi-Usa rarely ever considers that to be the case. She "dissociates" this fact due to the drastically different ways that Usagi and NQS act; Usagi is more of an annoying yet protective older sister, while NQS is much more loving and motherly.

Oh now I understand! Just I thought for a second there DiC had made a drastic chnage in Rini's family tree and was wondering why people were not making such a big thing about it XD. Thank you!
