My favourite episode has to be a toss up between the S season episode in which Minako has her own pure heart removed and episode 39 in the first season, where Makoto the "ice queen" goes figure skating.
Sailor Moon trying desperately to skate while being attacked by a pair of Engrish-spouting monsters is just too hilarious.
I just have so many favorite's personally, one of which would have to be 184, like many others have said before, it's very funny, even thouh it's only a filler, it's one of the better fillers, like I said, Stars has the best fillers, and I like the ending of all the seasons, I think those deserve an honorable mention.

One of my favorite episodes is in Sailor Moon S. Episode 101: Usagi's Tears! For My Birthday, a Pair of Glass Slippers & Episode 102: The stolen pure heart. Usagi is in trouble.

One of my reasons for liking it is because it's Usagi's birthday! Also these 2 episodes got everything in it: action, romance, excellent music, funny Usagi, Haruka & Michiru moments, and one of my favorite vocal songs "Ai no Senshi". One beautiful moment in the original Japanese version (in Episode 102) is the talk about sacrificing in the car between Usagi, Haruka and Michiru and the vocal song in the background just makes that scene one of the best scenes in the series. The talk about sacrifice in the English dub didn't have that kind of amazing powerful hold that the original had.

There are some Sailor Moon fans who think that the last episode of Sailor Moon S was just an episode that wasn't needed in this series but I disagree because it sets up the SuperS arc. "Keep-SM-Alive" what do you like about the last episode of SMS?

I'm thinking that she's referring to the episode where
Saturn sacrifices herself, Super Sailor Moon saves her, Hotaru is reborn.
I don't think she's referring to the episode where Haruka/Michiru fight Sailor Moon. I could be wrong, though.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

The last episode of Sailor Moon S is when Chibi-Usa is called back to the future with her parents and Usagi and the gang decides to throw her a little party--but Chibi-Usa thinks that they want her to leave. Also this is the episode where the Death Busters are officially destroyed BUT there is one daimon pod left.

Correct, but what Tiff is saying is that she believes that *KEEP-SM-ALIVE* is referring to the episode said, and not the true last episode of SuperS.

Exactly. Thank you.

Trust me, I helped make SMU. I KNOW what the last episode is. I'm saying that KEEP-SM-ALIVE is probably referring to the other episode.

One of my favorite SM episodes is the SuperS Special with Chibi-Usa which is called "Chibi-Usa's Adventure. The Dreaded Vampire Castle". I just love the whole dark tone of the episode and the Sailor Soldiers new attack Sailor Garlic Attack is hirlarious.

all-time favorite: 110: Uranus tachi no shi? Talisman shutsugen (the uranus and neptune death ep) becoz:
it's where michiru walked through all the bullets trying to save haruka and breaks their agreement of not saving each other when danger comes
when haruka realizes she's one of the talisman owners she did not hesitate to shoot herself with the heart crystal extracting gun to extract the talisman
also the hand scene is just too beautiful
2nd: 198: Kieyuku Hoshiboshi! Uranus tachi no Saigo (the other uranus and neptune death in Stars season):
the death scene where they reach for each other's hands before death is just too heart-breaking.
also in order to save the world they were willing to endure the pain of killing their partners and commit the sin of betrayal and risk going to hell, as long as they are together they don't mind being burnt in the fires of hell
184 is one of my favorites too, it's just so funny

I'm ashamedly inexperienced with the entire series (it's hard living in Australia sometimes). Believe me, what I have I _WATCH_. Apart from the Queen Beryl/ Metallia episodes, I have to say the Sleeping Beauty Episode in R. Every time, no exaggeration, I bawl my eyes out with Usagi in the phone box, and every time I fall in love with Mamoru as he valiantly sacrifices his own happiness to save Usagi (even if he does it in an almost unnecessarily cruel way). When he sees Usagi almost dead and finally shows some real affection is priceless.

This is such a hard question because I have so many favourite episodes. My alltime favourite is probably episode 198, followed by 195, 184 (HILARIOUS), 164, 126, 111, 110, 59, 46, and 45.

(Of course my first post has to do with my beloved Haruka/Michiru)

I'm torn between 106 and 110.

On one hand, you get the origins of Sailor Uranus AND Haruka/Michiru. I always thought that Haruka (or rather, 'Amara') was the coolest; like when Serena/Moon was all, "No, we can't kill a handfull of people for the other 6 billion!" and Amara/Uranus was just "Heck yes we can." Man, when I was 6 or 7, that was just plain cool right there. Having an entire episode dedicated to her was just awesome. So even though I don't remember it from back then, NOW I can truly appreciate how much it hurt her to do stuff like that, and how much she suffered from her fate. That was a great episode for me. I love character development, and I got it. And when Michiru practically admitted to having a crush on Haruka......

On the other, you get the wonderous hand-holding scene. (And the dub eppie 110, which now causes me to break into hysteric laughter for about 4 minutes straight. Oh, the incest!) I love that scene. Everything was so nice and pretty and sweet. I love fluff. Unfortunately, fanfic authors aren't very interested in the G-rated-fluffy side of their relationship, so watching that scene over and over makes up for it. I love it. Not only that, but when Uranus is all defenseless, and Neptune is hell-bent on reaching her even though she might die....priceless. Poor Uranus and Neptune are destined to suffer for each other. This whole episode just keeps me on the edge of my seat, even though I know what happens....

I agree with the previous post about the Uranus and Neptune episodes. Those are awesome and the character development of those 2 are just superb and to me I think that if Uranus & Neptune weren't in Sailor Moon S, it probably wouldn't have been as good.

Another favorite of my fans is the episode in Sailor Stars called "Usagi & Seiya's Heartpounding Date". That episode was just FUNNY and very memorable! Sailor Stars is just such a poignant series to watch because the 2 main characters that get the most development is Usagi & Seiya. And Queen Galaxia is one of the BEST villains ever, and of course her minions (Sailor Animates) adds humor to the episodes (for example: Sailor Iron Mouse).

Episode 15: "Usagi is Frantic! Rei''s First Date"

I haven't seen S or SuperS for a long time, and I've only seen a few episodes of Stars, so even though I remember loving both the dentist episode of SuperS and the episode of S where Haruka and Michiru get their talismans taken (I think... lol. It's been a while!) I won't include those seasons as I can't really remember them very well.

So out of S and R, I'd probably have to say my favourite episode was episode 34, 'Shine, Silver Crystal! The Moon Princess Appears.' As was stated earlier in this thread, the episode was just perfect. I think it's been the only Sailor Moon episode where the entire time, from start to finish, I was thinking "Wow! This is awesome!" so that pretty much says it all right there. I loved the scene where Mamoru tells Usagi not to change no matter what, lol. It was a great episode.

Honourable mentions would go to Episode 24 ('Naru-chan Cries in Mourning! Nephrite Dies for Love') Episode 68 ('Protect Chibi Usa! The fierce battle between the 10 warriors.) and Episode 88 ('The Last Battle Between Light and Dark! Vow to Tomorrow's Love!') largely because of the Chibi-Usa/Usagi scene towards the end of the episode.

Neo Dead Moon wrote:Episode 153, SuperS. The episode in which Palla Palla opens up her own dentist office. =D
That episode was just... wow. Palla Palla going "Does your teeth hurt? then I will rip off your head. There, it doesn't hurt anymore, right?" was just psychotic, even if she was just playing with dolls.

That's my fave episode from the first arc, too. I think it was the very first animated anything on history (Outside of Broken Saints) that has made me actually choke up and even shed a tear (and I'm not one to shed a tear on anything).
