Hey I am Clint.
I used to watch Sailor Moon everyday after school with my best friends. I only don't now because I cannot purchase off the internet for a few days (So close to getting my debit card) and it hasn't been on TV for ages :(
Well as you know by by my little intro my friends know I watch it. And Anime in general. My best friend used to watch Pokemon, Yu Gi oh, One Piece and other things with me. Shame we don't now because I lost my Sky connection :( :(
I don't tell people about watching anime because I am at the age where these things will get you outcasted by your peers.
My friends from school (Differant to the anime watchers) were freaked out when I told them about anime. So now I kep it within the inner inner circle. And the internet.
Family know I am an anime addict. I watch it most of wednesday afternoon and saturday, the days I have ability to watch Sky. My Nan watches one peice or pokemon with me :D
Anime is great :D

haha this is weird I used to watch sailormoon a lot too when I was little. I watched the DiC version first. So it was very confusing for me. Because I didn't start from the beginning my friend made me get into liking it because of her T-shirt I found these cards blah. My family used to be okay with it. Particulary my parents. But my dad started not liking that I was into sailormoon cuz it's girly? yeah something like that. My other cousin thinks it's just wrong for me to be watching sailormoon. I should be into things like DBZ and stuff. My old friends from elementary school and junior high know I like sailormoon and that I was into it. A few of the people that saw my cards made fun of me and picked on me. Some others that knew I liked it made fun of me about it. And now in high school. I guess i'm not so into it anymore. But of course I still like it.

My family don't mind that I watch Sailor Moon. My dad watches it with me sometimes and my mom has watched it with me on a couple of occasions. However, I've kept it secret from anyone at school because I could get made fun of for liking a "girl" show. That kind of feels isolating to me since Sailor Moon is one of my favourite shows. Sometimes I think I should just say "Screw this!" and let people know I like it even with the possible consequences. Even so, most people would probably only vaugely remember the show and wouldn't be fan enough to get back into it since it isn't even on TV anymore from where I'm from.

That show is for girls. He closed his eyes whenhe saw them transform. My sister likes it. My family is OK with it. No one else knows. Yes I'm a boy.

Hello All! First Post Ever!

I doubt my parents know I watch it anymore. My brother must've guessed I watched it when he used my computer and saw the SM background, he didnt mention it so I guess he's indifferent.

A couple of my friends laugh a bit about it, but they dont particularly care. I haven't ever seen a hardcore SM fan around here.

I am married and my husband doesn't think it's odd that I like sailor moon... he understands me of course cuz he's my best friend in the world! But he hates when I get too obsessive and if its all I talk about. So I'll just come here to talk about it!

Most of my other friends and family just think it's a little strange for me to be watching a cartoon at my age, but they know I'm quirky and they just accept me. I probably won't go telling co-workers that I watch it, because as an elementary school teacher I am supposed to be such a serious grown up... boooo for that.

It's nice to have a partner that understands or even better, enjoys the show with you. XD My boyfriend of six years and I met becuase we both liked Sailor Moon, and it's nice that we can watch it together.

I sometimes get the "you're 23 and you watch cartoons??" thing, but since anime is so mainstream now, people usually aren't that surprised. My family got used to it once I hit about 15 and I STILL watched Sailor Moon. XD

Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

My husband likes Full Metal Alchemist but I have not watched it yet... he likes Sailor Moon, but not listening in Japanese (I am working on him though! haha)

Full Metal Alchemist is pretty cool. the dub isn't terrible, but the original is better (XD of course, I prefer originals of everything, so that's my preference).

LOL wow, my boyfriend is like me, he can't stand the SM dub. Thank god.

my parents are worried about me getting anime, thinking it'll be like pokemon cards again... ;_;

at school, I don't usually talk about it, because I'm a quiet kid anyway. if I bring manga, it's usually something like Rurouni Kenshin, or something like that. or Kodocha, because I have another reason- funny as heck. XD

Recently my sister has really started to get into PGSM. This is really weird for me because even though she's watched some anime in the past, she's always refused to watch anything subtitled because she only likes dubs, but she's suddenly voluntarily started downloading PGSM fansubs on her own. She thinks Usagi's mom is awesome and she thinks Minako's manager is funny. I'm even lending her the PGSM albums I have burned on cd because she wanted to put the mp3s on her Ipod because she loves all the vocal songs, even if she can't understand a word they're saying, and she says Kiari Sailor Dream gets stuck in her head. I've tried getting her to watch my subbed DVDs of the Sailor Moon anime but she says she likes PGSM better. At least she's getting interested into something Sailor Moon-related and she's even watching it subtitled. Maybe there's still hope for her yet.

Believe me, semaj550, I can totally understand and relate. I joined this board as well as a couple others in order to actually be able to talk to people who love it as much as I do and don't think I'm some freak. :( NO ONE in my regular life is into it or even barely knows anything about Sailor Moon, except that it's some "stupid Japanese cartoon that was on TV in the 1990's".
Try being my age and telling people you love Sailor Moon and SeraMyu. LOL  I'm in my mid 30's, married, have 3 kids, and have been into Sailor Moon since I was introduced to it in 1995 by a friend. She showed me some of the Japanese Manga, as well as some episodes she had bought on VHS that were fansubbed. I was instantly hooked and became obsessed ! :D
My husband and kids know about how much I love it, but that's it. Everyone else would be like "huh?" So I pretty much keep it to myself, which can be very lonely and depressing at times. But I do have the message boards, so I get my "share" fix that way

I have just realized something. People on this board like Sailor Moon and don't care talking about it because we all like Sailor Moon. *anime sweatdrop*.
