I found this gif.
I really don't think that this was in the original sailor moon; I never saw it.
Can someone tell me what is happening here, because... well it looks like she farts in the tub, then proceeds to smell it? Well, her smelling it after leads me to belive... that she likes her own brand, if you catch my drift.

That's a really funny way of putting it.
I think it was when Chibi Usa crept into the bath and she's underwater, hence the bubbles. Usagi doesn't know it.
Why is the water red anyway?

Yeah, that's a scene from the real anime. It's in Episode 60: "An Angel? A Devil? Mysterious Girl from the Sky" right after Usagi finds Chibiusa at her house for the first time.

She thought she farted, but Chibi-Usa caused the bubbles. lol
Did the dub cut the sniffing part out? When I saw the Japanese one, I laughed so hard at it, since I didnt remmeber it from the dub. All I remember is Chibi-Usa emerging from the water, while Usagi was bathing...
Why is the water red anyway?
because the bathtub is pink and they wanted the water to look clear. It really appears red though. o_O

I think so, all I remember being edited from that scene was Usagi's cleavage.
