Chibi-Chibi's origin

I read the STars manga and seen the show and I it seems like they both have different origins for Chic-Chibi.

The manga said that Chbi-Chibi was Sailor Cosmos(?) who was either a Sailor Senshi or a high form of Sailor Moon(?) was she Chibi-Usa's daughter or Bunny's daughter(?)

The anime said that she was Galaxia's star seed(?) Who was sent to Sailor Moon for protection(?)


I am not really even sure myself.


(And for the record in the last few eps. of Stars who was that myesterious woman in white with purple hair? I thought it was Glaxia but why is her hair purple then?)
