New (Limited) Sailor Moon Gashapon Figurine!

Post by Sakuya » Fri Mar 04, 2005 1:16 am

There is a special edition gashapon figurine of the latest manga style Sailor Moon! However, I'm not sure if the fuku design is of PGSM or manga. Here, large images (click on it):

And here you can buy it on Amazon Japan:

Wow! That's really pretty!

Is there a price on that? I'd love to add that to my figure collection. :D

Wow! I got to have the figurine.

2,625 Yen. I believe. Looking at how much Amazon.co.jp charges.

1 yen = approx 1 cent

so 26.25 would be a good approximation....

That's just... :? I wonder if it comes with anything else? They should give us a height measurement of the figure. I hope they come out with more. If only Sailor Moon Channel would update us with some info on this!

Um... they do.

If you follow the first link that you posted, you'll see that it is 115mm, which is 4.5276 inches.

*EDIT: Calculated out the inches.*

Oh. It's so short but so detailed! It looks more like a statue from that picture. But $26? I suspect they're including something else with it...besides the box...

Dear, that's pretty standard pricing for something like that. My boyfriend paid about 30 bucks for a Love Hina figurine about the tall. Japanese items, even toys and figurines, are expensive. I'm not the least bit surprised that it's 30 dollars.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

Exactly. I can only buy my Japanese goodies once in a while because they're so expensive. I think everything in Japan is more expensive than here simply because their standard of living is higher. So it only makes sense to raise the prices higher.

You do realize it's a special edition figure that's most likely limited? Of course it's gonna be more expensive than the normal Gashapon figures..

It looks very very lovely, but I'm not sure if I'm going to buy it. I'm saving up my money for the upcoming Sailormoon DVD's and I already have way too many Sailormoon figures.

Can anyone who bought it take better pictures of it though? I want to see the details. :)

Roasted Twinkies never has her stars for some reason.

More on topic though, is this the only figure, or are they going to release all of the senshi?
Peachvampiress has an account on DeviantArt. Insanity Within.
And a Myspace account for her clothing designs.

That's a really good question. It would be nice to see all of the senshi released.
