Before I post this link, I just want to say that this site does contain Dubbed and Subbed Episodes of Sailor Moon (and many other Anime) which has been licensed in the US already. I have cleared this with Tiffu, so here is the site I use:

www.boxtorrents.com -> A Torrent site that has a lot of anime, manga, and hentai available for download.

Hi, I know Im new and have posted a few times already but I just thought I should give some info about the SailorStars season of Sailor Moon.

SailorStars has not in any way, shape, or form been licenced in America yet. Therefore it is perfectly legal to download/own copies or fansubs of it. This only pertains to SailorStars season(and the live action). However it's illegal to sell copies of the SailorStars season(or Live Action) for profit. Fansubs are supposed to be free and then distrubution is supposed to cease after licensing. Sadly, there are awful people that are selling bootlegs for 40, 50, and all the up to $100 on ebay. Here is an example http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 07252&rd=1 these bootleggers are making a fortune on this scam. Unsuspecting fans are thinking they are getting a good deal and buy it when the sellers are spending a MAX of $10 to $15 on the blank cd's and handmade boxes. Not to mention the shipping you still have to pay.And by the way, anyone who says that its official and from the factory is lying as SailorStars has not been officially released on DVD yet, even in Japan. This is against Ebays policies as well but they have there heads up there butts so they're not likely to do much about this anyways as long as they get their commision from the sale. However, reporting them still helps get the point across. Please people, don't buy from these scammers. If anyone needs the SailorStars and can't get via Bittorent or other wise for reasons like a slow connection(Ive been there so I know how annoying it is to try to get big files) or otherwise, you can get ahold of me via pming me or email.I have the high quality VKLL subtitled version on my computer and can burn it on a CD-R for viewing on another computer(you might need to download a codec from here http://www.divx.com/divx/download/ . The only thing I would need is the money for the blank cd's and the shipping costs(shouldnt be very much, probably $10 to $15 depending on were you live) If you cant afford this ill see if I can work something out and pitch in with the cost.
Oh, I also have the Live Action fansubbed in high quality up to about episode 30 or so. The same rules apply for this as well except it's not the full season still would probably still need Divx.

Incorrect. TOEI animation still holds the copyright to Sailormoon Sailorstars and, since this copyright is worldwide and since the United States and Japan are treaty-bound countries, producing and distrubuting copies of this material is, indeed, illegal. This, too, applies to Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.

Next, a word on your attack of "bootleggers", as summarized neatly by ParaKissGroupie:
ParaKissGroupie wrote:I'm going to go ahead and get this out of the way. The sets are bootlegs. That's fine. If someone wants them, that's fine. But I don't want to read a single post about how evil bootlegs are, and how no one should buy them. If you think that, keep it to yourself or start up your own topic specifically about it.
In other words, if people want to purchase these copies, that's fine, and this thread is not the place to call them out on that. Some people like the art attached to the box, DVD cases, and the DVDs themselves, and if that's how they choose to acquire them, so be it.

If you got good bandwidth, you can get VKLL's fansubs of Stars here. No need to pay bootleggers for Stars at all.

An update, since this topic is stickied anyway:

Only DiC dub DVDs left at Rightstuf are #1, 12, and 5. #1 has 52 left, #12 has 13, and #5 has 54.

The S and SuperS individuals and boxsets are still available, but there's no sign of Classic or R. There are no movies, either.

To answer the question; that DVD looks to be a possibly bootlegged release of the first 36 of DiC's English dub of the show. While the episode titles and art on the page seem to suggest DiC's packaging, there has never been a box-set release of these episodes - at least, not officially. Further, this set only has episodes 1-36, leading me to believe that it's not official, as not even DiC would leave out the last 4 episodes like that.

I found at the Seef mall in Bahrain a whole bunch of DVDs being sold near the theatre. Loads of anime, some I haven't heard of before, and I think some ecchi anime too.
Found Sailor Moon SuperS there. ^^ Seven disks in a box. Pretty box.

Didn't see ANY other Sailor Moon DVDs there at all though. And this one was the only one. How odd, but still!

So you can find Sailor Moon DVDs in Bahrain now. ^^

Free Japanese Sailor Moon Downloads?

Post by usagikat » Wed Nov 16, 2005 7:57 pm

I'm looking to download some Sailor Moon episodes (subtitled) for free online, but I can't seem to find the topic where this is being discussed, if there is one. I wish I could find some series episodes besides Sailor Stars (which I've already downloaded and watched :)) or the specials like Ami's First Love. All the other things I can find are clips... Please help!

Have you tried torrent sites? I'm not familiar with the generic anime ones, but with the "recent" release of the license by ADV, you should be able to find the first two seasons of the show. S and SuperS, as well as the movies, are still licensed, so those will be harder to find, if at all.

Also, merged with the sticky topic above, which gives information about looking for Sailor Moon in any medium.

I just checked the site, and it lists all the seasons of Sailor Moon for download via Bit Torrent.

That's what I get for being lazy ^^;; I skimmed the forums and what I read still listed the first two as being unavailable due to licensing issues. Thanks, Joe.

Yeah, I forgot to post it here but I did end up getting them. So go to the website then go to browse. It's quicker to find if you just go to the last page, and once you click on one of them it has a list of all the other Sailor Moon stuff they have. You have to have Azureus or something like that, though.

And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

Sailor Moon Stars

Post by SailorLunagoddess » Wed Nov 23, 2005 5:24 pm

Hello all--

I just had a specific question that maybe one of you may know. I know that currently SM Stars is not released in the U.S., however i was wondering if anyone knows if there are plans to do so. I figure that there probably isn't if it has not been released on DVD in Japan yet.

I'm sorry if any of you have already answered this question before. I am just so desperate to finish my collection that I love so much. ^_^ Any info is helpful.
