Acquiring Sailor Moon Episodes and Movies

Well, the subtitles aren't really bad at all in the Geneon releases, nothing major at all really, sure a few tiny mistakes, but I personally am not really bothered as long as it's still understandable.

As for the ADV subs, they're good, nothing wrong with them as far as I can see, if you were REALLY picky, though, there's probably a few errors or something.

Oh, and 1 episode from R isn't there, but you can always direct download it from Sailormooncenter.net if you must, and there are no episodes missing from the S and SS seasons.

Have a q- In regards to places like Sailor Moon Center and himura-KAORU, what sources do they use for these downloads? And are these Fan-subbed? I'm just such a curious person

Dear lord, just when I get all of the uncut uneditied box sets by ADV and geneon I find they left out eipsode 067:
Umiyo shimayo bakansuyo! Senshi no kyuusoku
aka: Ocean, Island, Vacation! Senshi's Day Off.
I despereatly want this episode in japanese audio/english subtitled.
If anyone has it I beg of you! /bow
I did find a very old link to it, but its broken now >.<

http://www.himura-kaoru.com has a great deal of Sailor Moon episodes and I think there will be the episode you are searching for ^^

sailorsakura: 1. If you want to continue using the forums, you need to input your birthday into your profile as stated in the rules.

2. There was already a topic about obtaining Sailor Moon episodes at the top of this section. Merging topic.

3. .rm is used by RealPlayer (http://www.real.com). The website there will lead you to a free version you can download to play the file.

(For some reason, SMU automatically puts it in URL format, and since there are special characters in the filename (such as (, ), [, and ]), the url tag won't work, so you'll have to copy/paste the entire filename into the browser.)

It uses the Matroska pack for a codec, so you will need to download that.

I cannot download real player to use an .rm converter... i have wasted hours trying to make it work before I found out that i needed Real Player. I cannot download it, apparently canadians cant. I tried.
Does ANYONE have a link for episode 067 JAPANESE AUDIO / ENGLISH SUBTITLED?? It has to be .avi.

Again, merging this back with the stickied topic at the top of the page. I suggest that you go with Slrjoecool's suggestion and download the mkv file he linked to; the Matroska codec pack should work regardless of where you live, and you can play the file in Windows classic media player.

Also, please input your birthday as we ask in the rules section.

The point of this thread is to give links and places where you can find episodes and movies. I'm sure a lot of members would appreciate it. Rather than have THAT many members PM you, please just post the link and save people the trouble.

I'd honestly argue taht site's credibility. It looks like they jsut direct linked to some videos on youtube, and so far, every anime episode i've clicked on says it's no longer available.

No, typos. It happens. You type fast, and your keys stick (which mine do) and you get typos sometimes.

*Shrugs* I tested it with another mod, and only one worked for the mod, and none worked for me.

Oh, well, Perhaps someone will be able to use it.

I just received my Sailor Moon DVD Collection in the mail about 2-3 days ago in it's original Japanese language! I'm very excited about it but I want to know who owns the bootleg copies of SM? I couldn't get the official releases since they are out of print and by the time I was interested in the Japanese versions the official releases were already gone. Who owns the "Perfect SM Collection" bootleg DVDS?

I just hope that I'm not the only one, lol. . .

The only problem I seem to have in my DVD collection is the Sailor Moon S season where some subtitles seem to be stuck (mostly during the theme song and the end theme song which isn't much of a biggie because I know the words) and like when a last piece of dialogue is spoken sometimes the subtitle doesn't show up which sometimes irks me. Does anyone have this problem with the Perfect Collection DVD Set? It's only with the Sailor Moon S DVD that I have this problem. My Sailor Stars DVD Set has little flaws but it doesn't worry me. Thanks.

I also have a question about "fansubs". I really want to get the SM SS Specials with the one about Ami and the other one with 3 episodes contained in the special. I plan on getting the specials from the VKLL website. But I have a few questions about fansubs. Firstly, are fansubs reliable? Like are the subtitles authentic and close to the original dialogue? And will they play in anyone's DVD player? And my last question is, when I get to the order form I don't know the actual price of the SM SS Specials? They can't be $5.50 . . . or is it? On www.youtube.com is the subtitled SM SS Special "Ami-Chan No Hatsukoi" a fansub?
