Boxtorrents.com has all of the first season for download, but you have to use Bittorrent to download them.

Thank you, Musashi. So when I go to the list of all the episodes on that site, do I just click save file and let it do w/e? Or what is RapidShare? That seems to be working. (On save file, my computer keeps sending me to a totally different page, and has been doing that. I need to call Best Buy. Grrrrr....) ^CCT, what is BitTorrent? And how do I get it?
www.bittorrent.com. It is a completely free downloading tool, and it's very good, though it does take some time for the downloads to finish. It was how I finally got to see the live-action Sailor Moon and read the Sailor V manga (which I also got from Anime-Avatar). And no, those are full episodes you get. Anime-avatar is just the name of the site.
I'm merging this with "Acquiring Sailor Moon Episodes and Movies" since you're trying to get episodes.
And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

Since ADV won't be coming back with their Sailor Moon and SMR DVDS, I don't know where else to get them. I won't be using Ebay to get them and the only choice is bootleg. I don't know what to do at this point because I really want to see the 1st two seasons in it's original format. I defintely like to see the episode with Minako and we learn more about her background. DIC skipped this episode.

You could try downloading. Or buy the R2 DVDs and find transcripts of the episodes. Geez, you seem to be stuck. Right now I am wishing I had boughten the SuperS box set. Maybe you could download all the episodes subbed, then buy the R2 DVDs once you have already known what all was said? Really, I don't know what else to think of for you since.

I have been downloading the episodes but it takes so long for the episodes to download. So far I've only watch 4 episodes of the 1st season and I still have a whole lot of episodes left. But I would rather have the DVD.
I have a question about the bootleg copies. If someone bought a bootleg copy what are the risks? Such as things like picture/sound quality, translation, etc.

Translations could either be crappy or fantastic. You should learn about the more well known subbers and like research them. And on the sound pic thing, ADV did an official release, and IT sucked on sound, not sure about the pic quality. So if an official release sucked, no reason for why a fansub shouldn't.

Argh! I'm really stuck in a corner right now. I guess I just have to think and decide what I'm going to do. Have you ever been on the website www.sailor-moon-stars.com by any chance? They sell SM DVDS but I think they might be bootlegs also. Argh!
They probably are bootlegs.
My Sailor Moon 1 & 2 DVDs are bootlegs. I got them after the licensed expired because they were cheap. I can't speak for the rest of you, but I don't have the money to spend 70 - 100 dollars on something that's not even licensed in the US anymore.
They aren't that bad. The audio, from what I understand, is just as bad as the offical release and the picture quality is very good with the exception of a few episodes that have grain problems. Honestly, I don't watch my Sailor Moon collection back to back and all the time so I can forgive the small problems. I've sat through both sets and didn't have a major porblem with any of them.
SailorMoonFan, I've never purchased anything through the sites you've listed, I'm sorry that I can't be of any more help with that.

I got them from Import-Anime. Thier DVDs are very cheap and run about $7 a disc. So each set was $28. The shipping is a flat rate of $6 which isn't bad if you buy a lot, but expensive if you purchase one or two things.
They don't have them in stock at present, but there is a round-a-bout wat to get them ordered. You need to register an account with both the site and the forums (they're two different entities). Log onto the forums and make a formal request for the items you want and they'll order it from their suppliers if available. It sometimes takes a while for them to get said items in stock and you'll need to stop by every so often to see if they've gotten it in yet because they don't notify people when their items come in. This is where things can get tricky.
They list the items for sale in their store and you'll need to order them before the items sell out again. If they sell out fast enough they'll order another batch quickly. If not, you'll have to place the order all over again. You'll need to be registed for the site to order the items.
The sellers are based in Canada and the shipping can be slow sometimes. My DVDs took about 2 weeks to get here, shipping times vary between your location and the time of the year (holidays and such). I lucked out and found the sets I wanted in stock and didn't have to do the whole request thing.
This method is very complicated and they don't restock as often as they used to. From my understanding it sometimes takes a few shipments before your items actually come in. It may be best that you find another site that has good feedback at the prices you want (bootleg or otherwise).

Merging this with Acquiring Sailor Moon Episodes and Movies since you're looking for a particular episode.

Ha ha. I read EVERY single reply. 9 pages. Hell, I don't want to get into trouble! I've seen the warnings!!
Poo! There's so many different dvd's out! Egh! It's confusing.
Basically, I'm after uncut dvd's. I've heard so much from different sources I'm condused as you could imagine. I found these-
Uncut Season one by ADV
Uncut Season two by ADV
Uncut Seaon three by Geneon
Uncut Season four by Geneon
Ooooooo! And I found this
Soo... What I'm trying to say is, are these good quality? Good buys for their prices (some seem VERY cheap, should I be worried???).If anyone has these and know what they're like I'd appreaciate it if you could help me!!!! I'd love to know how reliable the translations are and if they have ALL of the cut epidodes included. Oh guys, I'm sorry bout all the questions, just so confused and out of touch with it all since I'm in Australia and we get nothing here. Sucks!!! THANKS SO MUCH GUYS!!!
EEEEEE! I've been on here far too long! Cancer!! Egh!

The first four links seem to be people reselling OFFICIAL releases of the first four seasons, but since it's through the reselling portion of Amazon (new and used from others), make sure you contact them to verify that that's the case. If so:
Seasons 1 and 2: As the first post in the thread suggests, the quality of the audio and vide on these two is somewhat lacking, as ADV was given rather crummy masters by TOEI (though whose fault that is tends to be a matter of debate). Further, for reasons entirely unknown, one of the episodes from the R set was not included at all. The subtitles are fairly decent in these sets.
Season 3: Nice quality video and sound on these (since Pioneer/Geneon got good masters that were used to produce the dub version as well). These are dual-language, but some of the subtitles are a little wonky, such as calling Eudial "Eugeal" and Viluy "Byruit" or some such sillyness.
No comments on 4 and 5, though, as I don't own them :/ There's a chance that SuperS has some similar sub flubs like S (I've heard that they erroneously call Fish Eye "her" at some points), and the Stars set is a bootleg (which isn't a bad thing, necessarily =P)

Yeah I heard that about the ADV uncut boxsets. Is it true that ADV and Pioneer/G are the only uncut versions of Sailor Moon in existence? I'm really looking for accurate translations and subtitles, what do you suggest besides these, if at all, there are alternatives?
Thanks heaps for anwering my q's. Appreaciate it?
P.s. What episode did ADV exclude? And does Pioneer/G exclude any eps too? I want them all!!!! ALLLLL!!!! Mwuahahahaha!
