What IF Usagi DID go for Seiya?

Would Chibi-Usa be the same? What about the fate of the future Silver Mllinieum? What would become of Mamoru?

Well, obviously, Chibi-usa and Crystal Tokyo wouldn't exist. I don't know what would become of Mamoru. Maybe he'll go into depression or something? I have a feeling she'd always feel deeply guilty for changing the future and that would put the relationship on the rocks.

Anyway, as much as I liked Seiya and Usagi's little "relationship", it wouldn't be like her to betray Mamoru. I think she already loves Chibi-usa too much to give her up too.

Um..there wouldn't BE a chibi-usa. If your mom and your dad didn't get together, you wouldn't exist, either.

And it's like Vesta says..as much as I think Seiya and Usagi's little thing is cute and sweet, there's no way Usagi would do that...it's too hard for me to think "what if", becuase there's just zero chance of it happening, IMO.

Well, there's always the possiblity that Crystal Tokyo wouldn't exist anymore, but what if Seiya replaced Mamoru as the King? But Seiya is actually a girl, so would it be legal for Usagi and Seiya to get married in the future? Maybe Crystal Tokyo would be located in Canada instead of Japan?

Well, if they did get together, there's a good chance that Usagi would have left along with them, seeing as Seiya's duty to protect Princess Kakyuu wasn't diminshed in the least despite his (her?) infatuation with Usagi. She'd go along with him to continue to protect her, therefore no Crystal Tokyo, therefore no R arc, and thus we are left with another mindboggling paradox that cascades through the seasons, giving me yet another headache ><

Well, given that Usagi will be the ruler of Crystal Tokyo, I'm sure she could change the law to suit her marital needs (hey, it worked for Henry VIII).

Although in some ways I do think that Seiya is better for Usagi than Mamoru, the relationship is sadly rather unfeasible. But kind of nice to imagine ^_^

I agree, Usagi ending up with Seiya would mess up events that happened so much. No Chibi-Usa, therefore no Sailormoon R, and the S and SuperS seasons would be messed up as well.

I think Starscream has a good point. Usagi would have to stay on earth, as she is the princess. However, Seiya has to protect Princess Kakyuu on their own planet, and I think Seiya shows in the series that he puts his duty to his own princess above his own feelings.

But I don't think the whole 'Seiya's really a girl' thing comes into it. On earth, Seiya is a guy. It doesn't matter that he's also a Sailor Senshi. When he/she's on earth, he's a guy.

Not to mention, the world would probably end up destroyed, thus stopping the Lights from ever coming there... thus creating one of those damn paradoxes that always pop up when time travel is involved.

Think about it: without Chibi-usa taking the Silver Crystal and it ending up in her body, Death Phantom probably couldn't have been defeated. If Chibi-usa had not been there to befried Hotaru, Pharoah 90 might have brought the Silence on the Earth (though atmittedly, it was Chibi-usa's pure heart that awoke Mistress Nine...). And without Chibi-usa's dream to inhabit, Helios might have ended up in a much easier to reach dream mirror...

Hmmm, I think that if Seiya remained a guy on Earth, Chibi-Usa might still be born some how. As for Seiya having to return to Kinmoku, maybe he could get permission from Kakyuu to stay behind since she still has Maker and Healer to protect her.

Somewhat off topic, but I was bored a while ago and put Seiya's hair on Chibi-usa's head thinking "What would she look like if Seiya was her dad".... .... ....not pretty at all >_<

Here's what would have happened if Usagi and Seiya got together. Seiya would have returned at the end of Stars anyway. For one, with Mamoru there, Usagi wouldn't be able to keep it up. For another, if Seiya tried to stay, Usagi would make him leave because she understands the importance of the mission. Lastly.... Seiya was a guy in order to find Kakyuu. After he found her, he'd have no reason to stay a guy. I doubt any girl would willingly remain a guy. So, she might have stayed, but two girls can't really reproduce naturally, now can they?

Well, considering that Chibiusa is Mamoru and Setsuna's love child, the relationship between Usagi and Seiya wouldn't prevent her birth.

Timeline/Scenario:
1.) After Galaxia is gone, Mamoru cheats on Usagi with Setsuna, producing Chibiusa. Usagi, remembering all of the cherished times she had spent with Chibiusa, decides to act as her birth mother and not tell her of the indiscretion surrounding her parentage.

2.) Later, Chibiusa returns from the past for the final time, thus making anything that happens from this point on have no effect on the past via Chibiusa's big mouth.

3.) Seiya returns to Earth after many years, having helped her princess restore her planet, and searches for her love, Usagi. Usagi, having grown tired of her dead-end relationship with Mamoru, gives up her title as queen and runs away with Seiya.

4.) Setsuna gains the throne, becomes a second mother to Chibiusa, and happily rules over Crystal Tokyo. As had been her masterful plan from the start. While Usagi and Seiya live happily ever after, having a lot of really steamy lesbian moments that are conveniently included in the series for "artistic" purposes.

Yeah, she would make a good queen, but keep in mind that Sailormoon would still be the queen- Seiya would be the king though. I think.

Anyway, I think the thing between Seiya and Usagi was really cute, but it was more of just a crush of Seiya's and not really serious. But I guess this is just sort of a what-if.

Usagi and Mamoru could still be king and queen whilst Usagi has torrent love affairs with Seiya. Then Chibi-Usa would still be born.

Remember that a lot of royal couples are figure heads. Also there are also many people that believe in the possibility of polyamoury and then there are also those people that wouldn't mind seeing the three of them get it on.

In that case chibi chibi could be born of seiya and we could start a new thread with that idea in mind.

Are you saying Chibi Chibi would be Seiya's child? That's impossible in both anime and manga. In the anime, Chibi Chibi is Galaxia's Star Seed, and it's impossible for Seiya to be the parent of one of any one of Galaxia's forms. In the manga, Chibi Chibi is Sailor Cosmos, who is basically Usagi. I don't think I have to explain that bit ^^;;

No, Starfighter is naturally a girl. The "Seiya" part of her is a facade. She disguises herself as a boy just to find Kakyuu. Starfighter IS her natural form. That's the form she has at the very end of stars.

So they would be living together as two women, like Haruka and Michiru.
