I'm pretty sure Chibiusa does have the silver crystal.

Usagi had it and then it turned into a heart-shaped crystal. Chibiusa had hers at the end of SMR and it seems logical to me that it also turned into a crystal heart, the one she uses to transform. That couldn't be some random crystal in my opinion.

hmm...that would make sense, since they eventually send her back for training in S. maybe thay wanted to test her BEFORE they let her go around fighting?

It's also worth noting that in the manga, silver crystal was more common in the 30th century than it is now. A skilled jeweler could have cut Chibiusa her own crystal for senshi purposes.
Things I think Are Funny Early in the Morning: If Batman were a Smurf: "Quick, Robin! We must smurf down to the Batcave and smurf the Batplane! Then we must smurf the batsmurf so we can smurf where the Joker is smurfing!"

The Croonerism Spate (explanations upon request)
Be careful with this one, there is a bit of a pun involved. Dr. Spooner described his visit to a castle: "In the center of the fortress was the Palace Court. The gated entrance to this area was the court palace."

Is it possible (at least in the anime anyway) that Chibi-Usa somehow gets her own Silver Crystal? Since in the anime the Silver Crystal is Usagi's start seed then... well... Serenity would have died if Chibi-Usa took it back with her. (Not including R, since she was in a coma or whatever...)

Possibly, after Serenity dies (if she even does die) her crystal goes with her and either loses any ability or is passed down.

(Just guesses... alothough I'm sure Classic easily contradicts them both...)

Just the palace.

Manga Act 19, "King Endymion," in volume 5, 11th page, 4th panel, Mixx translation, Endymion speaking: "And the stillness of death settled on all but this Crystal Palace made of Silver Imperium Crystal."

Not to my recollection, but I'm going by the rule of thumb that anything confirmed in the manga and not denied by the anime is confirmed in the anime. In any case, I'm only giving a possible explanation, not one I'm prepared to defend.

The Silver Crystal is repsonsible for awakening Chibiusa's powers, but there's no evidence that she has it with her in the anime after she becomes a Senshi. Her brroch in SuperS contains some sort of crystal, but it's never identified as the Silver Crystal... and besides, there would be logistical problems with Chibiusa taking the Silver Crystal away from Crystal Tokyo, as it forms the city's main defensive shield.
Amazoness! Because men seldom make passes at girls who routinely kill men.

I still don't get why no one ever puts two and two together.

lol...

If I remember correctly... didn't Minako not recognize the other senshi the first time they all met in their civilian attire? I kow I saw that episode a long time ago so I could be wrong...

Maybe they actually have really thick make-up on or something...?

(No one ever recognized Superman either...)

It was actually the other way around. They didn't recognize her when they first met. You weren't too far off the mark there.

(And I'm kind of surprised no one ever recognized Superman either, but that's a different topic.)

Oh... yes... well... whatever then.

I've heard that typical fan explanation that there is a special aura surrounding them that makes them unrecognizable but... that just sounds retarded. I think the humans just aren't paying attention.

(The badguys don't count... since most of the time they only encounter the girls and the senshi for a few minutes... short-term memories?)

Actually, you raised an interesting point earlier when you brought up Superman and no one ever recognizing him. It's the same concept with the Sailor Senshi, and I believe it has to do with people only seeing what they want to see. Whenever someone sees any of the Sailors, including other people they are close to, no one makes the connection because the only thing they see when, for instance they look at Usagi, they only see a junior high school girl who can't pass a test. When they see her as Sailor Moon, all they see then is the superhero and not the schoolgirl.

Well, I would also go as far as to say that normal people most likely (and in some cases, we do see this happen) glamorize them into perfect people because they are heroes.

Kinda like when Shingo saw Sailor Moon in the Classic season (the one where he gets a pet and it's a phyco killer or something to that effect). He totally flipped out because there was no way Sailor Moon could be anything like his sister.

my personal theory on Sailor Pluto in the SuperS movie is that the SuperS movie does not acutally take place during SuperS but during the part of StarS that is the "superS arc". And the reason she comes back is that the pluto we see in StarS is not nesseccesarily (omg i mangeld that spelling) the same pluto as we saw in S, because the Time Gate is outside of the time stream it could be a Pluto from say, 100 years ago even ^^;; its kind of crazy but it helps me explain things.

And my explination on the "sending them into the future" thing re: Queen Serenity is that she just sent their spirits into the future ^^

I'm pretty sure in the manga, it shows Chibi-Usa's tear become another Silver Crystal right after Black Lady is healed. And eventually at the end of SuperS it becomes her own Pink Moon Crystal or whatever. It sorta makes sense because in the final Black Moon battle, when they take the crystals from Prince Diamond, Sailor Moon uses one and Venus is holding on to the future one. So at one point there were 3 Silver Crystals: the past version, the future version, and Chibi-Usa's. Chibi-Usa transforms with hers, Usagi transforms with the past one. And after all that when Sailor Moon and Tuxedo are teleported away, we see Venus still holding on to the future crystal. I think it makes sense because it would be too big of a mistake to accidentally show Venus holding another crystal.

With the Chibi-Usa recognizing her parents thing, I personally don't relate it to the fact they're not recognized when transformed. I think thats different. I always thought that their transformation repelled the thought of being recognized (I don't know if that makes sense). Otherwise, what would be the point of transforming? "Ooo, I'm wearing different clothes!" Plus, Usagi is simply a younger Neo-Queen Serenity. I know I could recognize atleast my mom's face if I somehow went to the past. It would be easier for Chibi-Usa because Usagi (God forbid) never changes her hairstyle. I don't think she got a whole bunch of plastic surgery or anything when she becomes Neo-Queen-lady-person. So there is my personal opinion.
