Sailor Moon Seasons on DVD ONLY $50!

Post by Luna1986 » Mon Sep 27, 2004 3:12 pm

www.animecollector.com has every season of Sailor Moon for $50 USD including Sailor Stars! It is uncut and in japaneese with english subtitles. It is on the Sailor Moon World label I think beware I not sure but I think the also sell some exclusively english dubs so if you hate what DiC and Coverway did be cautious.

I'm going to go ahead and get this out of the way. The sets are bootlegs. That's fine. If someone wants them, that's fine. But I don't want to read a single post about how evil bootlegs are, and how no one should buy them. If you think that, keep it to yourself or start up your own topic specifically about it.

The site's not working for me. In any case though, I don't see myself buying any bootlegs until someone finally decides to use the R2s as their source. I already have subs in enough mediums that use the LD as their source, plus I have the Geneon S and SS DVDs that work perfectly fine for me (until as said, someone makes subs/bootlegs with the R2s as a source).

Put $20 into it and support the licensed version... there isn't anything wrong with buying starS from these places (mine are booltlegs) but while you can still buy the licensed version please do!

To summarize, this is NOT the place to go around discussing what's "right" and "wrong" about bootlegs. It's one thing to say "I won't buy bootlegs blah blah", but there's no reason to try and convince others otherwise because of how you feel about them.

Thanks for the tips, I'm new to BSSM and I did'nt realize they were bootleg copies. Guess I'll just go for the Thin-packs at $80 for S and SuperS.

http://www.rightstuf.com still has the first 2 season box sets for $50 each. Just check under the weekly specials link on their store. They are the uncut ADV boxsets.

I'd hate to bump up this old topic, but I was wondering how reliable is animecollector.com with regards to sending the right product? I am fully-aware that most of the DVDs they sell there are bootlegs, but I wanted to know about how realible they are sending the right products. I've ordered from online stores before where they've got my order wrong, and since then I've always been nervous about ordering online, which is why I want to know.

I ordered stars from there, it got here just fine. So it seems good to me.

I think this review, was on the same boxset from animecollector.
