Usagi's father

Hey, there is something I always wondered, and it just occured to me now to ask this on the forum. Whatever happened to Usagi's dad? While, he, her mom, Shingo, Naru and Umino were often on during the first season, and part of the R, halfway through R they weren't as regular as before. But while Usagi's mom, Shingo, Naru and Umino were on a couple of times un S and SuperS, and her mom was also in an episode of Stars, her father was never on it again after episode 66. Is there a reason for this? I mean, I believe he was in the the Infinity Arc. manga series, so I thought there might be a reason he was never in the anime again after Chibiusa's curry episode.

Maybe his voice actor wasn't around to do the last three seasons.

*shrug* I wouldn't look too much into it. As Umino said, for the same reason Luna-p (or any other secondary character, for that matter) stopped showing up.

You know, I think you may be right. In the third episode of SuperS, Kenji (her dad) is mentioned in the preview, and in the episode, yet we never see him past R.

I thought of that too, I looked on imdb and it said his va never did anything passed Sailor Moon R, and I had wondered if he had passed away or something. I never found and info on him anywhere, just his voice work. So I was wondering if anyone knew if that was the reason.

Come to think of it, I don't think we get to see Shingo at all during Stars. Naru and Umino are also absent too.

Well, as far as Stars goes...

Everyone side character is GONE, excpet for Mama-Ikuko.

I still think it would've been funny to have Umino compete with Taiki over grades, and then get jealous, like "How come that smart guy is so popular and not me?!" Either that or Seiya gets rejected by Naru (who loves Umino) and then (this is before being more attached to Usagi) tries to impress her by wearing fake swirly glasses.

Yeah and if I remember correctly, Ikuko only showed up in one episode.

lol, that would be fun to see. It would be nice if they had at least been a couple of Stars episode, maybe the one where the Three Lights first went to their school, it seems like the place those side stories you mentioned would fit right in.
