PGSM Live Action Special Event DVD and Dance Lesson Tape

Post by Akarui Kibuno » Fri Aug 27, 2004 12:11 pm

Quite a long title, huh ^^;;

Well, I wanted to talk about that special event DVD that is going to be released... if I'm not mistaken, tomorrow, or Monday ^^;; Is anyone insterested in this product ? For those who don't know, it's basically a kind of drama/concert with many songs from PGSM. When looking at the pictures, it looks weird (somehow), but I found a way to have a better idea.

And you might be able to get this, too! Have you heard about the Dance Lesson Tape ? (I'm too addicted to PGSM. I browse every single site I can find about it!) It was a bonus tape that you got by filling in a coupon in a magazine (or two, I don't remember) and adding some money and poof you had a tape.

And guess who downloaded it because someone was nice enough to encode the tape ? ME. LOL ^^;;

I've got to say that it's simple but cute. It shows four songs: C'est la vie, Here we go, Romance and Kirari Sailor Dream. The five senshi sing and dance to C'est la vie (Mars seems sooooo hyper when dancing :P ) . Then, you only have Usagi, Makoto and Luna (in Senshi form for Kirari Sailor Dream).

Hearing Makoto sing part of Here we go and Usagi singing Romance, seems funny, but it's nice enough. Makoto does the lesson for "Here we go" (I think, I skipped some of the file to see the rest :P ) and Usagi does the lesson for "Romance". She's cute *_*

It's interesting because it proves the girls do sing themselves during the concert... they might have recorded the concert version before the actual concert, but it doesn't matter XD . Gotta love this DVD if you get it.

*well, I read the whole topics list and didn't find this. Tiff, and you other dear admins and mods, please be happy to beat me with a large stick... and merge the topic if needed :D

Where did you download the dance lesson tape? I just *have* to see Usagi singing Romance.

I want to see the Kirari Special Live DVD even though musicals don't faze me. This seems like another rendition of Sera Myu only with better costumes. :) I'm only interested in the interviews and stuff tho...

Well as for the link in the PGSM thread I've missed it (silly me @_@;;; ) but I downloaded it off of Direct Connect anyway, since I belong to a group where everyone downloads everything PGSM related as soon as the link is out :D

As for the Live Event DVD, I saw a commercial in Act 46 (got the RAW) and seeing Tuxedo Kamen dance is... so priceless... :lol:

*damn, I ordered this DVD a few seconds ago. silly me. ^^;;;;;

The link in the PGSM thread says "No such torrent" now. :cry: Is there any other place that someone can recommend where I can get it from, BT or Direct Download?

According to Jasio.net which hosted the torrent "Tracker exploded. I'm trying to get everything back together."
So try again in a few days and maybe it will be back...

Ah! Thank you! :) I did a Google search for it and found it hosted somewhere else, but it's going really slow: after two and a half hours, I'm only at thirty-some-odd percent, and I'm planning on playing some Counter-Strike tonight, requiring me to shut it down. I may just wait to start it back up. *shrug*

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

<off-topic> Yeah, I'm still quite the newb, but it's fun. Still playing old-school CS though, not CS-Source. I usually play on the T-3 Houston Warcraft 3 Servers. </off-topic>

<on-topic> By the way, Akarui, in C'est La Vie, what you were saying about Mars, are they in Senshi form or street clothes? I ask because Mars is my absolute favorite on PGSM and I personally think that she's incredibly cute in street clothes. :D

Yeah, I like the old school version, too <3

And mars is ADORABLE in street clothes. I love her "civilian" look far more than her senshi look.

During C'est La Vie, all of the senshi are in their sailor fukus. The fukus are slightly different than in the show; their skirts has an extra layer or two to make them more frilly. Usagi, Luna and Mako dance in street clothes to Here We Go and Romance. Then they transform and dance to Kirari Sailor Dream in their fukus.

Well lol they say "Dance change" to their phones and I'm sure I wouldn't go in the streets dressed like that :D

*personal note: I think the frilly thing added to the fuku is good: in the show itself, we see what's under the skirts too much! With that frilly stuff, I guess it hides better :P

I just was able to see it. Yeah, the petticoat things do help hide the "panty shots" but also I noticed that the fabric under the skirt is the same color as the skirt and petticoats, so they're even less noticable that way. And Keiko Kitagawa looks like she's having a BLAST dancing to "C'est La Vie"! Poor Chisaki Hama looks like she's either fighting stage fright or they didn't give her enough rehersal time. :( Still extremely cute. I loved "Romance"! ^_^

I really want to see the other DVD, the Kirari Special or whatever it's to be called. If someone sees a torrent or download of this, can they post a link here? Please please please??? :P

Well, I have seen no torrent so far (after all it's been released for two days only) but I tried to order it from CDJapan (I'm stuck to CDJapan I don't know why lool) and when (if @_@;; ) I get it (problem with credit card to be resolved with CDJapan staff) , I'll find a way to send it, or BT it, or whatever.

But I'll bet there will be someone who'll do that sooner! (Heck, if I find it, I'll still buy it! LOL!)

I disliked them for the exact same reason. But they set it up right for me--frilly, non revealing clothes for standing and dancing, revealing clothes for flipping and fighting.
Things I think Are Funny Early in the Morning: If Batman were a Smurf: "Quick, Robin! We must smurf down to the Batcave and smurf the Batplane! Then we must smurf the batsmurf so we can smurf where the Joker is smurfing!"

The Croonerism Spate (explanations upon request)
Be careful with this one, there is a bit of a pun involved. Dr. Spooner described his visit to a castle: "In the center of the fortress was the Palace Court. The gated entrance to this area was the court palace."

This is going to sound like a dumb question because I am a simple person, any way, that Dance Lesson tape thing, would it by chance actually teach me how to dance?
If so I need to download it, and then I can go to a prom!

Of Topic: Jasio.net is still around? I met Jasio months ago when I was working with LAST.

Nope - it's dances to these specific songs from PGSM, not a general "How to dance" video.
