Episdoe 45 when Moon crying over the loss of her mates adn thier ghost come back to confort her I was in tears

Mamoru vs Usagi in 46 when he as a child crying saying he has no one and she goes you have me and the diealog form there between thoese two

Japnese version wehn Sailor Moon becomes the moon Princess I never relised how moveing it could be

All of episodes 45 and 46, for reasons people have already mentioned. Sailor Uranus' and Neptune's death in the S season. In the Neheliena arc in Stars, where Sailor Jupiter jumps in front of Sailor Moon and is attacked by Nehelina to save Sailor Moon. Then, when she asks Neheliena if she has any friends like Usagi. [spoiler]When Nehelina gets reborn after the end of the first 6 episodes in Stars, and she asks one of her servants if she can read her a bedtime story. I dunno why, but that scene always makes me a bit teary-eyed. [/spoiler]

I thought of two more, since I just watched them raw on DVD (yess...I can turn anime into Japanese listening comprehension practice)

1) When Chibi-Usa-sama gets her heart crystal taken...she's not even sad...it's so sweet...she's just happy Hotaru's okay, but her body's in such pain
2) When Moon gives the Grail to Mistress 9...I have weird mixed feelings there...part of me wants to tell her to stop along with Uranus and Neptune, and then part of me wants to hug Sailor Moon for being so kind.

Episodes 45, 46, and 89.

Specifically anything said by Usagi after Rei's death in episode 45 (ESPECIALLY her speech near the end of 46 while the ginzuishou's light spreads across the Arctic (consuming the senshi and Mamoru) and we see the Northern Lights.) and Chibiusa saying "arigatou, mama" to Usagi and then running to see her parents at the end of 89.

Yes, Chibiusa's expression is very sad....and I feel the same way about when Mistress 9 gets the grail. You're like "NOO...SHE'S GONNA TURN EVIL AGAIN.....awwww how nice of sailor moon...BUT NOOO!!"

I kinda felt like that too. You're like "NO! SHE LIED TO SAILOR MOON! THE WORLD'S GONNA END!" but then you see the face of Hotaru-chan struggling to break free of Mistress 9. It's sad to see it, I mean, I was on the edge of my seat watching it (even though it was the dub) that it was that sad/suspenseful. It was also sad at the ending of the Classic when [spoiler] Sailor Moon heals Mamoru with the musicbox[/spoiler]

SmR Movie: [spoiler]When Usagi Dies and then is brought back to life by firoe giveing Mamoru the flower.... (I think I may have somethign mixed up here... not certain) and you see mamoru kissing Usagi.... it's just aww... snif sniff.... awww[/spoiler]

And when.... The senshi are remembering their pasts, adn then how much Uasgi has changed them... I love it.

SMSS movie... Only seen the dub, and I know that Chibi Usa never thinks of Usagi as her mom... but when Rini reaches down over the side of the ship and yells MAAAAAAAAAAAMMAAAAAAAAAA!!! I just get teary eyed... oh oh there they go!!! (tears)

I have yet to see the end of SMS in Japanese.... but I"ll bet it's good.

Neptune's death in S.... sad... but I dont' get the pink rose thing...

-Episodes 45 and 46. Watching the Senshi die one by one, and then later seeing their ghosts coming to help Princess Serenity fight Beryl, it's just so sad.
-Episode 28, when Usagi is comforting the painter Yumemi (sp?) The combination of the music and the kind things that Usagi is saying is really touching.
- When Chibi Usa goes back home to Crystal Tokyo in R
- The R movie when the Senshi are remembering how they were alone before they met Usagi, and then when it plays Moon Revenge, and later Mamoru reviving Usagi
- Usagi crying that she's alone without Mamoru, and Seiya looking at her and asking "Am I not enough?"
- Before the Starlights last concert, Seiya saying that he was going to take Usagi away in his arms
- The deaths of the Inner Senshi in Sailor Stars, especially with Rei. Made me cry
- The deaths of Uranus and Neptune. Made me cry tons
- When the Star Seeds of the Senshi come back, and they're telling Usagi that she's not alone, and thanking her for having such a strong belief that she could save the world.

every time Mamoru was cruel to Usagi and wouldn't tell her what was wrong in the second half of the R season.

Seeing how sad Usagi was when she didn't know why Mamoru hadn't answered her letters or phone calls in the Stars season.

Watching Rei die in Usagi's arms and tell her to be brave in the last of the Stars season.

Usagi killing herself because she can't be with Mamoru in the Moon Kingdom in her past life, in the manga.

What scene, in your opinion, is the most heart wrenching scene that makes your eyes tear up, or even outright cry?

Mine is in episode 194.
When Usagi is talking about not being able to endure things, and sobbing out "I want to see Mamo-chan!"

Usagi getting physically beaten up by Nehelenia in Stars (Episode 174, or the 6th one of Stars) and Nehelenia revealing she wanted to say beautiful and young because it was the only way for her not to feel ''lonely''. It does seem strange, but there are people like her. Not literally, but you get the picture.

And in one episode of Classic, when Usagi finds the (evil Endymion) Mamoru walking around and he doesn't remember her.
That was so /sad!/

in S, when Sailor Moon is pounding the ground with her fists and she's all beat up and is screaming out her transformation thing, crisis moon makeup or whatever it is but she can't transform and keeps trying anyway... her screaming it out that way and her desperation are really moving... I just love that scene.
