Two people that I know (well... One I know.. I've known her since I was five, and she's never told me a lie once... Heck, she introduced me to Pretty Soldier Sailormoon o.o; ) announced to me during a recent ramble about the horrors that could/will happen with the Stars dub that..

And I quote...

"I saw it on the International channel before"

"Oh? Subbed or raw?"

"In English"

".... ... BWA HAHAH! Good one, almost had me!"

"No, no, seriously! I did"

"... o.O;"

Then my big sister confirmed this fact... Though mentioned she hadn't actually watched it, just seen it. ...

Kinda odd thing... Thought I'd mention... ... *edges off the soapbox*

Any English over Sailor Stars out there is a fandub. Plain and simple, there is no professionally done English dub of Sailor Stars. At all. And I'm doubtful that any television channel would show an unlicensed program, with the possible exception of a local UHF station or similar. And until we hear from an official source (like Toei), I encourage you to be skeptical of anyone who says there's an English-voiced version.

Yeah, that's why I was confused... Then again, the International channel DOES show unliscenced stuff, as far as I know, or at least they have on occasion.. I don't know... ^^;;

No, they actually show LOTS of dubbed Anime... they've shown almost EVERYTHING dubbed, actually, except the Slayers Saga and all the Raw DB, DBZ, and DBGT there is floating around...

And SailorAsteroid is right. There is NO professionally-done, licensed, official dub of stars. It's 100% a rumor, and we've gone through this SEVERAL times on this forum, so I'd really rather not open this box again.

Think of it this way, Stars is probably one of the most highly anticipated animes to be dubbed and is in high demand. And with the way news is spread in the Sailormoon community (the whole community, not just the domain), I think it'd be just about everywhere by now if it were true.

like everyone else said, it's not true. I would love to know who sent that rumor around that Stars was getting dubbed in english. Stars is nearly 10 years old now and there's a lot of content in it that would never get on the air here.

Now if they want to release a subbed version, thats fine.

I have some fan-subs already. There is this site that sells each one (4 eps.) for onliy $11. If you want the link, just say and I'll post it.

That is ENTIRELY unnecessary. You do NOT speak to people on the forums in this manner, regardless of whether it's a general outcry to those who wish to see Stars dubbed or to one person in general.

People are completely entitled to their opinions, and you have no right, at least, not here, to tell those people to shut the hell up simply becuase they disagree with you.

I am not sure if this link has already been posted, but this is a great place to buy the Stars fan subbed (they do a great job) and you can also buy the SuperS Specials too.

The DVD's are $11 a piece, which I think is pretty nice.

You're making some pretty big assumptions here. What if, say, Geneon were to license Stars (and use the same studio that does the dubs for most of their anime)? That would be a vastly different situation than if Cloverway got it...

And for all we know, Stars could get the same deal Saint Seiya got: a bad dub for TV and an accurate one on the DVDs...

While IC airs most things in whatever language they're originally made in, I've seen some English shows and dubbed anime. Though when they showed the Fushigi Yuugi OAVs a while back, they showed them in raw Japanese.

Are you refering to that old one with Sasha Light, Jessica Lights, and Kyra Lights? The one who started it was Rebo Valence of Sailor Moon Urban Legends Central.

I want it dubbed. Some of us
A) Can't afford to buy the entire thing fan subbed, or afford an offical sub.
B) Aren't aloud to order fan subs
C) Don't know if we'd like the season, and would want to watch the dub first to see if we like the premise (I fall in this group).

How do you think anime will grow and become popular if it isn't dubbed and shown on T.V.? Dubs generate money for companies to buy new titles and bring them here.

I found her site in the archives at prettyguardian.com. It was working fine two days ago, but didn't work for me today 0__o. I think she still updates that site (I didn't check).
