Could someone PLEASE answer my questions? Because now I have ANOTHER question. On the site it says the DVDs are like $32.50 or something like that. But what is the TOTAL cost with shipping and handling AND tax? I would really appreciate it if someone who has bought some of the DVDs could answer my questions.

Um, that's something you have to figure out on your own. click on the buying button to act like you're buying it, and it should total it out for you. Shipping and tax varies by site..nobody here knows every shipping amount and every tax amount for every site that sells DVDs.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

1. Do you HAVE to have a credit card? Can you use a debit card?
2. On the website for all the DVDS except for Season 1, it says they are remastered. Is Season 1 remastered?
3. How long is it expected for the 2nd press release to run out? Or will the DVDS be continued to be made for a long time?
4. Is it true you can listen to it in Mono AND Stereo?
5. Are ALL the specials on these DVDS? ( I think there are about 7 specials in all.)
All I can answer is your first question. If your debit card has the Mastercard or Visa logo, and they accept Mastercard and/or Visa, then yes. If you do not have the logo, then no.

This thread is for the remastering of the Sailor Moon series into Region 2 (R2) DVD's.

It is not another series, or anything new. Just a re-release of old material, but cleaning it up a bit.

Thank you everyone who has helped so far SO much. Tiffu, (may I call you that?) I was specifically thinking of buying the DVDs off CDJapan, and thanks for your advice. I went to the S movie which costs $34.11. With the longest time to take the DVDs to be shipped would only total the cost to be $38.60. With tax that would add to $39 or $40. Slrjoecool, thanks for the info. Just these DVDs are too overpriced. Oh well, it's totally worth it.

Thanks Tiffu! I almost found everything. I just need these questions answered. But patience is a virtue.

6. I have the S box set. When ever the theme song plays there is always this little black line at the top the sort of shakes. Does anybody else have it? Is it on the R2 DVDs?

@Sailor Rainbow: The prices DID rise. For the movies at least! They rose by $10 the last time I was at CDJapan! Let's hope the prices decrease and not increase! :P

Yeah. The Sailor Senshi Make Up! Special is on the SMR movie DVD. The Sailor Moon Super S specials are included in the first SMSS DVD. And Ami-chan's First Love is included with the SMSS movie.

I don't remeber anything like that. I'll go check my DVDs when I get the chance.

Thank you SOOOOOO much!!!! I am so glad that I can order these DVDs with positive results!!! But on the specials thing, I thought there were seven. I remember in one of Rattleman's posts he said there were seven specials. The other two were Dreaming Moon and The Wonderful World of Sailor Moon S. Someone should ask him about that. Questions # 3, 4, and 6 are the only ones I need answered! You guys have been such a help! I am SO glad I came to this awesome site! @Umino, thanks for checking on the S DVD thing.

The movies have mono, stereo, and a music only track. The Series only has a mono track. Also you can get the S movie for $35.99 with free shipping from Yes Asia.

Okay, let me get this straight. So the series is still in Mono, but the sound just got remastered? And why give the movies a Stereo option but not the series?

Because the movies already had a stereo track available.

OK, thanks for the info. Also, everyone, I was wrong on the other two specials thing. It wasn't Rattleman who said that, it was Cardcaptor Takota:
And there are two more Sailor Moon specials other than the ones you've mentioned you have. There's also Dreaming Moon and The Wonderful World of Sailor Moon S.
Now I'm wondering if those final two are on the DVDs...

Which one would you all recommend for buying the DVDs, Yesasia or CDJapan. I can only pay with money orders, so I was thinking Yesasia so it wouldn't be so costly. Where on there DVD pages does it say if they have first press or not? It's probably right in front of my eyes, but I can't see it!

Also, does anyone have any video or audio comparisons with ADV's release of Season Two and Toei's Region 2 releases? I think there were some on here awhile back, but as far as I can see, all the links are broke. Would it be a smart idea to keep looking for the ADV version of Season 2 or just go ahead and buy the Region 2 DVDs? Any help would be appreciated!

By far NOT ADV. The audio and the quality just sucks. Buy the R2 DVDs.

That's what I was thinking too, but I have a few questions about Yesasia before I order from them. If anyone who has ordered off Yesasia with a money order before could help me, let me know! I have a few stupid questions to ask :)
