Live action PGSM!

Nevermind what I said about the video not working properly before, my computer was just on drugs again. Rei was very good, and Sawai Miyuu is really starting to come through as Usagi. It looks like although Jupiter won't appear in the next episode, Nephrite will. I could only see a glimpse of him, but his hair looked very odd. Queen Beryl was scary as always. There was some cool music for the Tuxedo today... and a turtle for Motoki. Luna also had two very funny moments. The youma seem to be getting even cheesier; I think it would have been better to have heavily made-up women shoot CG effects and do flips than use these very odd costumes.

There seem to be alot of people missing from the show at this point like umino and usagi's father also at the rate the show is moving now we will be in the r season by episode 20 but actually i like it better that way less filler but also less charchter bonds and developmewnt

i think the luna thing is cool untill she turns into a puppet oh and is the voice acctress the same for luna as on the anime i think so also about the hair color that is really freaky i can see ami chan not haveing blue hair all the time but i think usagi and the rest's hair colors need to match all the time not just when the henshi and they are useing attacks really strange i mean have the time it is just random i mean moon tiara bomerang it does make it more intresting but they just seem to make stuff up whenever they need it also why does everyone know how to fight instantly one of my faviortie things was usagi matureing from ditzy but lovable to strong and sure sigh it has it's goods and bads but it is still pretty cool

Whoa. No offense, but let punctuation marks work your way into future posts, that was an eyesore.

And back to episode 3: [spoiler]"Youma Taisan" doesn't really do it much for me either. I liked the attack names as they were, and I don't know why they are feeling the need to change them. But it DID have a cool sequence, so I won't complain much. And Neph's hair did look kind of funky... [/spoiler]

And can anyone tell me what manga act Artemis shows up in?

Yes, Keiko Han (Luna's original voice actress) voices Luna in the live action show.

Hmm... so Nephrite will be showing up so soon? Definitely seems like they're going at a much faster pace than the anime. Personally, I would like some filler to be in there, but not too much.

We see him and Sailor Venus appear at the end of act 7, he actually says stuff in act 8.

Is the next episode an adaptation of the masquerade from the anime and manga?? It looks like it might be. Shucks. Will they include the kiss? It would be weird if they did, since Usagi is in a bear costume and she and Mamoru haven't interacted that much. Oh well, it could be good.

Wow, it's downloading fast on my system (I have DSL ^^;;) Can't wait to see it, even if I won't understand a single word (maybe Moon Prism Power, but that's it).

has anyone noticed the really strange way ami always holds her hand while she's walking it is like straight up and cupped, really strange. The other thing i wanted to know (i know i have time to kill while waiting for ep.3 to finish) is what is the strange audio player ami uses to play her aino minako song.

That, my friend, is a Mini-Disc player. I forget the specs, but as you've noticed, its quite small. The discs hold quite a bit of music, however; I may be wrong about this, but I think it's the equivalent of 2 or 3 full CDs worth.

thanks alot i had never seen one of those things before at first i thought it was a floppy disk and i was like what! Those Japanese with they're high technology what will be next.

I'm still waiting for personal giant robots, myself ;)

It was quite interesting to see Ami use one of those IN CLASS. I would think a person so dedicated to studying would know better than that...

i wanted this to be mroe happy than angry looking, but my friend has a mini disk player! its so cute. their like little flippy looking things like the Aino Minako disk. its so cute. WANT IT! >< so jealous chisaki has one.

EDIT: more just an added note. HOW DID YOU DOWNLOAD EPISODE 3? no ones on the genvid forum to help. im going to kill myslef for this!! please. ifyou love me, or at least recognize me, help v_v

Actually, mini-disc players are common here. I've seen them for sale.

The Youma Taisan doesn't really make a difference as it conveys the same thing; youma is the same as evil in the sense that it IS evil right? Also, maybe they are making this series 9 episodes? I know that the live action You're Under Arrest is only 9 episodes also.

I wonder if how they are going to do the Serenity-suicide-flashblack scene? Or maybe they will be combining the anime ending with the rest of the scenes from the manga?

I wonder what Queen Serenity will look like? Ah, so many questions! I am so used to having every episode laid out in front me so I don't have to wait.

Okay. It's done downloading. But for some reason, I can't view it. It says I don't have a codec. I thought i had all the codecs I needed. I even tried playing it in a divx player.
Can someone help me out here? I can hear the audio, but there'sno video.

Audio, no video? Sounds like it needs the Xvid codec.

-_-;; I encounter this problem a lot, you see, and they don't have a Mac version of the codec so I'm basically screwed...

According to the music composer of the program(in her official site), PGSM is currently scheduled to be on air for a year.

It was quite interesting to see Ami use one of those IN CLASS. I would think a person so dedicated to studying would know better than that...

In some japanese cram school, esp. the expensive ones, they let their students study with their own method (as it is believed everyone has a different way of studying). I don't know it if that was the case with Ami's school, but Ami did say that Minako Aino's voice help her memorize.

I just want to know where Artemis is while all of this action is going on..you'd think he'd have at least made a small cameo..I can't wait to download episode 3 though..I just want to know where the poor underrated white moon kitty is..I can't wait to see how Miyuu Sawai will look in her Princess Serenity costume..I wonder if they'll use a blonde wig (if they're following anime) or a silver wig (from manga) ? Hmm..this could get interesting.. I just want to see how they'll develop Tuxedo Kamen's character though..whether he'll use an actual attack or throw roses..I find it funny how they made Minako an actual idol..she has to balance being Sailor V/Venus, a junior high school girl, and a pop star..talk about a hectic life!

I watched most of episode three. The scene with Luna playing Sailor Senshi Trivia with Usagi and Ami was so cute and funny. Mars' transformation is wicked pretty -- I love the roses. A problem I have with the live action series so far is that it seems really fast-paced and doesn't really take its time with the story like the anime did ... I wish there would be a few cute filler episodes here and there, it would also be nice if they would invent some new stories that weren't there in the anime or manga.
