It's ok; the show's pretty recent, and spoiler issues for things like this are a bit tricky. I think in a few months, when the show is almost a year old, it would be alright to reveal things without the tags.

I finally got around to watching Act Zero and I have to say I was really disappointed in it. I thought it went by way too fast and I was hoping we would get to learn more about the Senshi's past lives on Silver Millienium, since we never really learned that much about it in the series or how Beryl and the Shitennou were awakend. However, I got a real kick out of the scene where
Usagi screams out Minako's name while Sailor V is looking at her from the distance; she thinks someone found out her identity and freaks out, and Tuxedo Kamen is right there watching her and learns her true identity. Now it finally makes sense what Mamoru means when he says he figured out Minako's true identity when she still was Sailor V. ^^;;
I was also hoping we would get to see more of Sailor V's attacks aside from her boomerang thing. What exactly was the point in the Hina special? And the Birth Of Tuxedo Kamen special was just strange. o.O

I think the whole Birth of Tuxedo Kamen thing was just a joke :P . I mean, it can't have been as what you see in it, it's just too weird.

I just like Usagi's face at the end... and I'll say no more about this since I think every person who liked PGSM should see this :P !

I've only just heard about this series, as I've had a recent sort of "re-birth" of my obsession with Sailor Moon.

But anyway, the one thing that peeves me off from the photos I've seen, is that they can't get the fuku's right! It's pretty simple to construct it, as I've done it for a Cosplay before. In my opinion, the bows on the front of the fuku should be alot smaller, and the skirt shouldn't hang down limply like that. If they had made the skirts out of a better material, or put wire through the bottom of the skirt, they could get it to stick out properly like in the anime and such. I know it doesn't look possible, but it is. Grrr.

/end rant. XD

Well, thing is, as much as I agree with the fact that the PGSM costumes could have been way better, you still gotta agree that this is quite great compared to the SeraMyu costumes. Sure, the SeraMyu performers are great, but just imagine what it would have been like in a live action series o.o .

That and PGSM is a different medium so the costumes aren't/can't be the same as Seramyu and cosplaying. The actors in PGSM have to run, fight, kick, jump, kart wheel etc, so they need something that will move freely. The Seramyu performers (from what little I've seen) just have to dance and jump around a small stage. That and their costumes have to accomidate the audience members at the very back. Cosplayers just walk around and stand, so they can afford to put long, sharp, heavy things into their costume to give it the right shape.

o_O Wow, and here I was incredibly impressed by the costumes/fukus.

*shakes head* Peach is absolutely right. There's just too much moving around to put all sortso f wires and such into the skirts. Realistically, that's what a real sailor senshi's outfit would look like. The reason they flare out and shit in the show is becuase it's ANIMATED.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

That and stiffer skirts would limit the amount of visible panty shots in the series. Why, what would we have to laugh at then? ^______^

I finally got around to getting PGSM and watching it. Here are some thoughts:

1.)I like the return of the Shinntenou(sp?) along with the soap opera that goes with it and Zoicite the brooding musician.
2.)The Artemis plushie is cute. I want one.
3.)Mio is ugly. It's the nose. I like the music that goes with her though.
4.)The characterizations are awesome and are far better then the anime's.
5.)I liked the plant monster in the Special Act and wish more monsters could have been like that.
6.)FINALLY getting to see Usagi's dad.
7.)Minako's manager and Ikuko knowing each other somehow seems fitting.
8.)Ami-chan is still my favorite.
9.)When Queen Beryl is talking about Prince Endymion she talks about how he's powerful and all that but never once mentions anything about him as a person.
10.)Those are nice fukus.
Everybody was a baby once, Arthur. Oh, sure, maybe not today, or even yesterday. But once. Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you''ve got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception.

Okay, re-read old post and came to the conclusion that I sounded like a complete ass.

Actually, my whole view on the PGSM fuku's have changed - I've grown rather attached to them, and I really do like them for what they are. I like how they made the upper breast part sort of like body-armor. It makes their fuku's look more like the original Sailor V one in a way.

And I was just watching PGSM Kirari Super Live - Friend (not too bad), and it seems their skirts are somewhat different - they seem to have this extra layer of fluffy-ness, so they go out more. It's quite a cool effect actually - it's like they're wearing really fluffy and short pantaloons underneath.

Okay, I figured by the giant "XD" in my post, followed by the "Mm, PGSM Usagi" that it was very, very obvious I was joking.

Oy.

Try not to take things so personally. I think it was pretty obvious that I knew you were teasing, as you do so often.

Either way, let's get back on topic.

...then..why explain that you're teasing him?! That makes ZERO sense. If you knew I was kidding, then you wouldn't have had any reason to explain yourself.

Either way, this is way off-topic and doesn't need to be further discussed here. So let's move on, please.

lol, back on topic...

It feels kind of weird that it's been over a year since PGSM ended. It's a little disappointing that the show ended so quickly.

On the other hand, part of me is glad that PGSM is over because I never really liked the PGSM splash pages on the Sailor Moon Channel all that much... Naoko's art is prettier *_* So I'm glad to see her artwork being posted on the splash pages again.
