Thanks for posting that!
Though I must say that Mio's costume looks funny and that Luna's purple hair really looks out of place in the wedding pictures.
:S

RoastedTwinkies: Please be careful with what you say in terms of spoilers. I just blacked out what you said because it revealed QUITE a bit about the Special Act, especially for those who don't want to be spoiled about it.

I finally got to watch the last episodes ( my school blocks bt). I must say I really enjoyed the end but I was a little dissapointed. becuase
the fact that ginzuisho was destroyed kinda ruined the whole it's really Usagi's Sailor Star plot element from the Stars manga arc... oh well
Ah, you're right about that, and it becomes more disappointing when you know that
in the Special Act, the girls seem unable to transform in the beginning. Which may be caused by the lack of Ginzuishou. But maybe Usagi can make her own one ? Plus, Shingetsu says (or rather translates a page that says) that Queen Serenity appears in the Special Act, so the Ginzuishou might as well come back. Hehe.
The Special Act DVD got released yesterday and today, it was ripped and released on BT. Please note that it's a 60 minute film, this rip is low quality and is only around 200MB. Obviously it's for those who have bought it but did not get it in the mail yet.

Thanks goes out to the #PGSM channel as well as Xcite, the ripper. More information can be found on the torrent page here:
http://torrents.theppn.org/details.php?id=22016

It's not subbed by the way.

Shingetsu has their transcript up. (the link is direct to the transcript) I think it needs to be mentioned how nice everyone over there is in getting them done so fast, and being so sweet about it. Three cheers for Shingetsu!
Things I think Are Funny Early in the Morning: If Batman were a Smurf: "Quick, Robin! We must smurf down to the Batcave and smurf the Batplane! Then we must smurf the batsmurf so we can smurf where the Joker is smurfing!"

The Croonerism Spate (explanations upon request)
Be careful with this one, there is a bit of a pun involved. Dr. Spooner described his visit to a castle: "In the center of the fortress was the Palace Court. The gated entrance to this area was the court palace."

I have now seen the Act.

What I liked:
-Sadistic Mio. The smiling psycho is a highly underdone character, and Mio is damn good at it. Her video reminded me a lot of Onee-san from Battle Royale, and the way she kept smiling and talking to Choppy was very cool.
-Seeing all the girls go on to other things. Especially Ami in America and Mako in the flower shop. Like seeing old friends.
-MotokiXMakoto made official. Although looking at that scene, I was thinking, well, they'll probably go driving afterwards, get a flat, find a castle where Motoki will act like an asshole and Makoto like a slut and. . . well, you know the rest.
-Mamoru and the Shitennou kicking some tail.
-Minako in biker leather, but more so. . .
-Mio's bitchin' fishnets and dominatrix/Bret "Hitman" Hart outfit. Yes, Mio, beat me, whip me with your lollipop-scepter!
What I didn't:
-Clowns. These were the scariest bad guys ever. I would rather walk into Galaxia's lair holding a sign that says "People with big star seed collections are just compensating for not being able to land a husband" than have to face these guys, especially if they did that dance again.
-Lack of Rei. My guess is that Keiko had some scheduling conflicts that prevented her from making some shoots, or else just didn't want to get into the senshi fuku again.
-The big one: the idea that the senshi can only transform, or indeed do anything magical, when they have to to fight youma. This grossly contradicts the anime and what I've read of the manga (I'll finish it next year, I promise!) and what's more, it's Just Not Right. It is something I'd expect out of an American show, for a hero to lose their powers when fighting is over, but I think for saving the world so much, they deserve to keep their powers for "casual use." Like, Rei should not have to carry around matches, and Makoto should never need to buy a UPS for her computer. And all the senshi would be great fun at parties. Well, that's just my thing.
-The line "That time is really over" and the implication that nothing happened over those four intervening years, like, say, FOUR MORE SEASONS!
Things I think Are Funny Early in the Morning: If Batman were a Smurf: "Quick, Robin! We must smurf down to the Batcave and smurf the Batplane! Then we must smurf the batsmurf so we can smurf where the Joker is smurfing!"
I thought the special act was disappointing. Like a lot of people put it at the lj pgsm community, it was like watching a badly written fanfic. I thought the whole bit about the clowns was stupid. However, I thought it was special when Venus was there, using Mars' sailor star tambourine while she was in the hospital. If you remember how Mars used Venus' tambourine after she died, I think it shows just how close Mars and Venus really were. After all, Mars was first to know about Venus' secrets, including her identity as Minako Aino, and her terminal illness. I thought it was special.
Just to clear up some errors and misconceptions, it seems many people are confused about the upcoming specials. There are two specials currently announced:

PGSM Special Act:
This is the 60-minute special that tells you what happens four years after they defeat Queen Metaria. And this is the episode about Usagi and Mamoru's "conclusion". The DVD comes with a special box and has already been released.

Act Zero:
This is all about Sailor V's origin, before Act 1 of the TV series. There will be cameo appearances for Usagi, Naru, Ami, etc. The DVD comes with another box. Also bundled with Act Zero are two special episodes, one about Mamoru and the other about Hina. That's all the news for it so far. This will be released on March 25, 2005.

I think act zero looks promising. I think I want to buy it. I would like to at least own one of the official PGSM DVDs. I would really like to buy the entire set, but I just can't afford it since they're $55 US each on CD Japan. Originally, before I saw the special act, I was considering actually buying it. However, since it didn't prove to be that good, I'm going to pass it up.

I've decided I'd have my first trip to Japan in 2005 so I'll save as much money as I can and I guess I'll buy the DVDs then. Or anything Sailor Moon related anyway.

For those interested, by the way, since it's kinda related, Sawai Miyuu released an "Asian Kiss" photobook, DVD coming. After her "Summer" Photobook, Ayaka Komatsu is releasing a new one, as well.

And Chieco Kawabe released some other songs that are really good.

As for the Special Act, it is available subtitled on torrents.theppn.org, as far as I can remember. And it's not TV-Nihon but the person used Shingetsu transcripts and it turns out pretty good.

Well right now it has only 21 seeders for 577 leechers, so the ratio really sux. Hopefully it evens out more soon.

The time has lowered to a more reasonable one, 11 hours, but still, I was hoping to have the special act downloaded in an hour or two.

I hope I´ll be able to get the DVDs someday. I´ve seen the first 10 episodes and they totally rocks ^^. I think that Queen Beryl looks more evil than in the manga and animé, while Zoisite seems more gentle and calm (or is it just me? Can´t really think of Zoi without getting butterflies in my tummy). I also like Ami-chan and Minako-chan in this version.
If I was DiC-dubbed, I would probably say that Yoshito Endou-sama and Akira Kubodera-sama are two hunkasaurus *hides when Sailor Moon-fans and DiC-haters starts to throw things on her*.

One last thing before I go to bed; I hope there will be a sequel because, I wanna see the Outer Senshi, Chiral and Achiral (y´know those two droids in ep.81), the Amazon Trio + Galaxia-sama in a Live-Action-version! And Artemis as a human, since he´s a real hunka...*get clobbed down*
My youtube-account / My multiply-account

I dunno. I was just looking at it and I suddenly got this urge to get inside. No, not just an urge - more than that. It was my destiny to be here; in the box. And then when I put it on, I suddenly got this feeling of inner peace. I can´t put it into words. I feel... safe. Like this is where I was meant to be. Like I´d found the key to true happiness.
~Snake from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

I´m some kind of high powered mutant, never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Bad luck! I´m are suffering from Rivalee´s Syndrome.
Cause: thinking too hard
Symptoms: aphasia, vague gills, mildly squeaky voice, eyelid swelling
Cure: cryogenic freezing until science catches up

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that one.
In the special act, Usagi and Mamoru get married and this takes place four years in the future.
Because of that, it's highly unlikely anything else will be released after act zero is released in March.
