I wasn't quite sure where to put this, but Sailor Moon seemed to be the logical place.

Has anyone else seen the first two episodes??!! They're so cute! CGI Luna plush! Crown Kareoki(sp?)! Mamoru's hat! Jedite looks really... odd. His voice doesn't quite go with his face. I saw the episodes in raw japanese, so I'm not sure of what exactly was happening.

also thers a release of episode one subtitled. finally, it took a while because they translated the song so you can sing along ^.^ it rymed....brb with the actual link....

I just finished downloading the newly subtitled Act 1! Can't wait, but I will have to wait until Sunday to watch it as I'll have no time this week.

I watched the raw though. It feels weird when Jadeite is right there on-screen, but his voice is an echo.

A friend of mine downloaded the first episode, and was watching it at our club's anime showing last week. I watched parts of it, but to be perfectly honest, I thought it looked absolutely awful.

My friend, who is also a big Sailor Moon fan, said that it was actually OK overall. However, I don't think it's something I would like at all.

I downloaded the raw Japanese version of episode 1, and then downloaded the fansub of it. Did anyone else notice how the subtitle's translation were...weird? They translated Sailor Senshi as "pretty tentacle rape targets" for example, and the commericials. o.O;; I think it's just a translator joke, and I really hope it is, cause otherwise, I'm scared to death. o.O;; I also downloaded episode 0, which is the making of the live-action Sailor Moon. One of the things I liked about this live-action series, was how Usagi's hair changed color when she transformed. In her civilian form, she had black hair, and when she transforms, she becomes blonde. I thought that was cool, because in the anime, I always wondered why no one was able to ever figure out Sailor Moon's true identity, even though it was so obivious. I mean, come on, she wasn't even wearing a mask! Unfortunately, there were some things I didn't like about it. Particulary, Tuxedo Mask's mask, Jaedite's funky hairdo, and the CGI Luna plushie. It would've been better if they just used a CGI real cat. Well, it was still pretty good, and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest.

That's because the droup who did that sub (AO I think it was, can't remember offhand) labled it as a partial parody sub. A lot of people thought it was the real thing as they didn't see the parody note by the file link. However, TV-Nihon has released an actual sub version of the first episode just a couple days ago. Go to the site that Monkey links above for the real sub.

But anyway, one of my friends sent it to me right after it was available and, well... I've been a Sailor Moon fan for years and I did think it was awful, too. What's that color for Sailor Moon's boots ? What's that pink on the chairs in class ? Why making it pink ? I won't spoil the whole thing for those who didn't see it yet, but as a fan, yes, I thought it was awful.

The girls might look cute on a picture, but not "moving".

Someone formour anime club is giveing to me after and I quote " How much is it worth for me not to bring this and touter everyone at the next meeting?" we falied to pay ^^;

In defrence of Jedite see him with out the wig mush better.

I loved both episodes... they were great in almost every way. Cheesy, but great

I wish they'd made Luna CG all the time though... the CG version looks pretty good, but the puppet/plush toy versions look cheap and nasty, and the contrast between the two is too big.

It's cute, though, and EXACTLY what I expected from a live-action Sailor Moon: cheesy as all get out, but in a good way. I can't wait for the next Act...Rei-chan <3_<3

As soon as I get back home, I'm downloading the new, better sub. How's the encoding on that one? As good as the raw eps?

I'll be willing to put it on my page if people are interested...granted, it won't be much faster than BT if you're on a modem, but if you can't/don't have access to BT, it might be a decent alternative.

yaaaaa, i barely understood what you said. is it that hard to spell to and add sion and the word at? and it is a parady sub. but the TV NIhon will most likely havae act 2 soon since it took a while because they translated the song and you can sing along =^.^=

Oohh, tomorrow's the third episode, and according to the preview clips at the end of episode 2, it's gonna have Rei-chan! I wonder how they'll do the Minako/ Sailor V/ Sailor Venus storyline though, since Artemis appears to be MIA..I can't wait to see how the rest of the Shitenno turn out in later episodes..Jadeite's actor looks pretty good, but the teeth..I don't know, is it just me or is there something up with his teeth? Hmm..

I've downloaded both episodes and watched them both raw and subtitled. The Japanese girls are all so adorable! The episodes are pretty cute and fun, and I love some of the scenes like in episode one where Sailor Moon meets Tuxedo Mask for the first time; that scene was so sweet.
