Leaving for Finland

Ah Finland. It sure does look like a wonderful place to visit. I haven't travelled much so I unfortunately haven't been to many other countries but someday I would like to go to Europe.

Hey, it IS nice to have you back. Welcome back! Did you know the language or did you get by with speaking English? That's something I'm often curious about with other countries, since I only know some Japanese and French, which means I might be lost if I went to, even, say Mexico, which is right next to the USA!

I speak fluent English and uhhh.............Bobanese. Everybody in amsterdam speaks english as well as dutch so it was easy getting by there. Everybody in Britian only speak British, so it was hard for us to communicate well, them speaking british and me speaking ENGLISH. In Finland, most everybody speaks a little bit of English, but sometimes not enough to effectively communicate. My friend that I stayed with speaks English and Finnish though so I got by pretty well.

But don't let that make you think that you can have a bunch of topics about you while some of us don't have any, and some of us have to share our topics with others.
