Downtime yesterday

Bad weather caused a cable line to go down yesterday, causing parts of Oswego to have no internet or cable. Since there was no Internet at my house, the site was down from about 4:30-ish yesterday afternoon until sometime this morning.

So that explains why yesterday I was suddenly kicked off SMU and couldn't return.

same here. I couldn't even get to the main site to see if there were problems. I was worried we'd have to do a move again. But, here we are.

Yeah, basically until Spring get's here, if anyone can't connect to phobos at all, just assume the weather knocked something out up here. Now if you get error messages instead of can't find server messages, it means I'm playing with something with phobos and everything will be normal soon. I try to do my playing really late at night so close to no one is affected.

I didn't get a "can't find server" message. I got a "connection timed out" message.

Same thing, if the connection times out and doesn't come back, all that's different is that you were on the server before the connection went down.

-_- yeah, it really sucked becuase I was trying desperately to get on before I left for Ushicon to let people know where i was.
