Avatar vs. Real Life?

I chose Sailor Jupiter as my avy here for the following reasons:
A. She looks a lot like me (I have long brown hair like hers)
B. We both like to wear it in the same hairstyle
C. She's my fav. character

*Blinks* You too? *Glomps Sailor Sapphire* YAY!!!!!! Anyway, for me if someone's avatar changes, I automatically change my image of them with it. If someone had calm character before, then change it to someone screaming, I take it as an attitude change. It's just weird like that.

This is really weird, but because of moondvd's avatar, I'm going to confuse him/her with Tiff! I still think of that Galaxia one as being Tiff, even though she hasn't used it for a long time!

And now, whenever you see my avatar, that IS pretty much what I would look like as an anime character (except I couldn't really make the glasses I drew on Hikaru to look like mine). Hikaru actually has blue eyes, but they look dark in the avatar picture anyway.

Edit: I'm back to the Diana picture again! She's my dog, and she acts like me (for those who are new to the forum). I plan to change it to something else when the clock strikes midnight on New Years, too, but it'll probably go back to Diana later, knowing me and my love for her.

I always associate people here with their avatars...such as that I always thought Dan looked like a banana thing...*ignores strange looks given to her by Dan* But yeah, currently my avatar is of human Luna, and I look nothing like her. I'm really tall (5 feet 8 and 1/2 inches), long brown hair, green-blue-brown-gray-hazel eyes (I say that because nobody agrees on the color of my eyes), and big feet! Too bad that I don't look like human Luna.

I thought it was a taco, though I could see the banana thing. I don't really associate people with their avatars unless there's a real connection, like Tiff's which says, "Do not test me."

(Edit: Well, it used to) What I do do is look first to the avatar to tell who'd posting before I look to the name. So when someone changes theirs, it takes me a couple of days to get used to it.

South Park Season 7, the episode where Earth was found out to be a reality show run by aliens. My avatar is of the alien in charge of production when he is in the form of a taco that craps out ice cream at the request of the boys. After I saw the episode for the first time, the taco just scramed at me to make that my avie, so I captured a bunch of images of it when it reran. Hope that clears up any confusion. ^^;;;

OMG!! I saw that episode tonight for the first time. Smegging hilarious. And I think Stan captured my thoughts perfectly when he said "Dude, I have no idea what we're seeing right now, but I have a feeling it's really, really wrong." (you know what scene I'm talking about ~_^).

Anyway, I think I sort of look like my avatar, floating on water and what not

But seriously, the avie does sort of capture my personality. But if I wanted to have an anime avatar that looked like me, I'd have to find a pic of Taiki with glasses since she freakishly resembels me. 0__o

Peachvampiress, your avatar unnerves me somewhat, as it looks just a little like the infamous Abu Ghraib torture photo. Edit: (Well, it used to) Same pose, same draping cloth under the arms, same way the feet stick out from the clothes, the head is obscured by darkness that makes it look like a hood, and she has something in her left hand that I'm guessing is a sword but could be viewed as a piece of cable. That would be a bit too much of Real Life.

But it is a very pretty and unique avatar.

You know that's Yuna from FFX, right? o.O It's not a sword, it's a staff, and she's using it in a ritual in peachvampiress' avatar.

Oh. No, I didn't know. I didn't play deep enough into FFX to get to Yuna. But if that's CG, it's damn good.

I just thought it was a weird coincidence, that's all. No moral or complaintative statement meant. An avatar might just as easily resembled some happy picture in the news, and I would have pointed that out too.

I did look at the picture forum, but I tend not to remember what people look like unless I see them or their pictures a bunch of times. Also, I haven't seen that movie, since I'm not really a Harry Potter fan, so that's why I didn't recognize the actress.
