To discuss various bands, genres, etc...
Could be interesting. I know I'd be up for it. =P
Also, a TV/Movies forum? *shrug*

I don't know. Anime and Manga, Video Games, those are things that Sailor Moon fans might be expected to be into, and therefore generate discussion. With music, movies, and TV, I can see too many topics that would just be "why I like show/movie/artist" and when no one else does, being left unresponded. When they're all together in a few threads in the Off-topic forum, people are more likely to read them. I would think.
Things I think Are Funny Early in the Morning: If Batman were a Smurf: "Quick, Robin! We must smurf down to the Batcave and smurf the Batplane! Then we must smurf the batsmurf so we can smurf where the Joker is smurfing!"
The Croonerism Spate (explanations upon request)
Be careful with this one, there is a bit of a pun involved. Dr. Spooner described his visit to a castle: "In the center of the fortress was the Palace Court. The gated entrance to this area was the court palace."

I agree with Asteroid; I'm not sure how efficient these boards would be, given that these topics aren't very heavily touched upon in the Other forum as it is. If we had a much larger userbase, it might work out, but as it is right now, I think we're doing ok ^^

*nods* As Asteroid and Dave pointed out...you would end up with many threads specifically aimed at just one band or artist, and there may never be replies for them.
Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

But, in the music forum, we could also discuss the music of Sailor Moon, right? *hin hint, wink wink, nudge nudge

Ah, I'm in agreement with the usage issue. I think a music specific forum could get clogged up with a bunch of un-replied topics.
I'm fine with the current system, but there is a solution if further forum specificity were desired. There could be an Entertainment forum, for books, movies, television, and music. The Off-Topic forum could then be for cultural discussions, news, politics, and whatever else. That way you wouldn't have a bunch of highly specific forums with low post counts, but you would have a bit more separation.
Of course, re-categorization of existing topics might be something that would entertain me and my simple mind, but it would probably be a hassle for the mods and admins. ^_^;;

I agree with NameGoesHere, with the idea of an Entertainment forum. Maybe we could try it out for a week or so, just to see how it goes?
I mean, I know a week alone wouldn't really mean much (some music forums have a TON of posts in one week, and like... none the next), but it's just a thought. ^_^;;;
