New Editorial: Goodbye SOS. Good Riddance or Fond Farewell?

Post by AnimeGuru0 » Thu Dec 16, 2004 1:39 am

Hey all. I've posted a new editorial. Tell me what you think. Discuss. Disagree. Agree. Do whatever. Have fun. Or don't post, that's fine too. *THROWS SNOWBALLS AT RANDOM SMU FORUM MEMBERS*

Well, as you put it, as much as it sounds weird, one can guess easily why you would miss SOS. Now let sailormoon.org (or com, dammit, which one has all the most weirdest posts around ?) go, and we won't have anything REALLY weird to talk about anymore.

But I've got to say there's one point I slightly disagree on: some new sites have taken on the "responsibility" to spread the Sailor Moon popularity even though it's mainly about PGSM.

Shingetsu, Three-lights.net, Sailordream.com, you know, sites like that, Sailormusic.net ... as long as these sites and SMU keep on existing, Sailor Moon will be alive.

:) you know, I think one of the reasons why people "liked" SOS was that they had something to debunk. Most of the other sites had correct information, good content and all, so of course, SOS was the site that was visited to be made fun of. In that I don't count the "poor people" who believed them at first of course, since they were the ones who needed to know about Sailor Moon and didn't really know where to go.

So guys, just keep running SMU only if at some point the only thing left to do is to post editorials and keep the forums alive. The only way to let Sailor Moon live is to keep all those forums alive ;) ...

Personally, I think that since SOS is gone that won't be as much misinformation around. I remember being fooled by those guys, when I was new to Sailor Moon. Good ridance to them. Though, one might miss the entertainment value of the site.

Actually, we still have Sailormoon.com. May the idiocy of Sailormoon.com forever be laughed at by those of us who have clues.

Anyway, I too am glad SOS is gone. I got sick of being confused by their conflicting reports on things in the Sailor Moon world. I have never been to Sailormoon.com though. I wonder if I should, even just for a laugh.

You'll get more than a laugh, lol. You'll get dizzy, and then wonder if SMU exists, since there seems to be so much crap there...

Heck, technically speaking they might be worse than SOS XD !

Well, then, I might not go if I am going to get dizzy. But everyone could use a good laugh, including me.

I'm glad that SOS is gone for good because back then I was confused which information I should read if it is true.

They're worse than SOS no matter how you look at it. Half of them are deluded and the rest are just morons.

Well, that is the way most of the world works, isn't it? Most people are either deluded or morons.
