Wowee, my opinion essay got put up after 3 years...

Wow, it's been a while. I used to check out this site quite frequently, but since there haven't been many new comparisons and Sailor Moon is practically dead in America, I've stopped going for about half a year at least. But, I just checked out this site today after nearly forgetting it existed and I find out that my opinion essay from 2001 got posted recently. Wow. Well, better late than never I guess. Remarkably, upon reading the essay I realize that my opinions remain exactly the same regarding the issue of changing music. I guess that means I'm either stubborn or right, I'm going with right.

Oh, and if you're wondering what M.D. Geist is, it's this really awful(in my opinion) anime that if I remember correctly was licensed by Central Park Media. It's rather old, so I doubt it's still available if you were interested in seeing it(not like there's a reason for seeing it, really).

But, of course my point was that even an anime that I hate like M.D. Geist deserves to keep it's original music for the fans that do appreciate and like the movie. I mean, who am I to say that M.D. Geist would be better if they changed the music? If I changed the music of M.D. Geist to fit my tastes then someone who actually does like M.D. Geist(there's at least one fan of this movie known to exist) would be dissapointed with the version I made to suit my own tastes. Furthermore, maybe M.D. Geist is actually a great movie that I just can't appreciate. Let someone who does appreciate it get enjoyment out of it, don't alter the movie to fit my tastes.

Anyway, thanks for posting my opinion essay, better late than never I guess.

I like your essay! It was definately well thought out and had TONS of good points. Loved it!
