Thank you. It's actually two fonts I kept switching back and forth. The main one I used for "Sailor Mo_n __cen____d Foru__" is called Groone, and I think was installed by a macro program I loaded. The other for the ". . . __o_ Un___sore_ ____ms" is called John Handy LET and I guess comes with Windows.

I made both of my entries on Microsoft Word (mostly.)

*cowers* I'm intimidated on how much better everyone's is...

Anyway, I'm all done with my entries. I hope there'll be another banner contest soon.

I too, like that banner a lot. It really doesn't take a lot of time or effort to make a simple graphic. All you need is a basic photo editing program like paint and you're ready to go! ^_^

We don't have one of those though

I doubt very much my parents are going to wanna download one either so I can enter an online contest they won't understand. If you're curious, I can't download programs, my comp is not set up for me too, only my dad can do this because his profile online is the moderator one I guess.

Paint usually is a program that comes with Windows. If you have that, Paint should be in the accessories folder in the start menu. Unless that's been blocked too.

The only thing is that you'd need to have someone (possibly your dad?) to convert it from bitmap to .jpg.

Actually, Paint can save JPG images, so its entirely possible to enter this contest since Paint is on every system that has a Windows OS on it, and the Accessories program group is never hidden from any system users.

All the banners entered so far are neat! Strawbaby, yours is awesome! Do you think maybe for the next banner contest, we could do a vote? I know they can be construed as popularity contests, and I really don't mind Tiff being the judge, but I think a vote would be cool for one, just to see how it goes.
As for entries...*looks around* Not me. What are you looking at? I can't do anything creative.

Well, I decided to go ahead and try. It's not very colorful, but then, it's a black and white manga image, and there was just NO way I could think to add any colors that wouldn't look...forced. You know? Even the butterfly is stretching it a little, but it needed *something.* Bleah. And the only color picture of Heavy Metal Papillon isn't very pretty, IMO. So, there you have it. I wish I had something other than Paint and IrFanView. Ah well.

I actually like that one. Black and white in my opinion seems Haloweenish, and I like her eyes in that pic.

Here's my second entry. Yay, Mistress 9! Full of purpley goodness (heh, if you strain your eyes, my name's just above the URL). I'll be away in Perth this weekend, missing the winner's announcement, so everyone mentally add in my congratulations.

By the way, Tiff, is it OK if I've just put 'smuncensored.com'? The 'http://www.' doesn't usually make any difference; I tried adding it in but it ended up way too long to work in the picture. If I must, I've still got the .psds... I don't want to be disqualified on a few missing letters

Well, I'm trying to make a second one but Photoshop is being silly (I want to use a font size 6 or 8 but it appears huge for no reason) .

EDIT: Photoshop is still being silly, but I found a way to do what I wanted. This second one is simple, so if you don't find it nice enough for the contest but nice anyway, Tiff, use as much as you wish later
