It would make sense for Geneon to just copy the discs bit by bit from original release to thinpak release, but it may be possible they felt the need to touch up on things. I don't really see the need for that though, as the original set of discs were good enough as they were. The only thing that I can see being changed from original to thinpak is the copyright info and logo screens to say Geneon instead of Pioneer. Hopefully Geneon will address the issue soon, though very oddly, I haven't seen anyone on AoD mention the errors yet. I've seen them be mentioned in Genvid and AFSM, but not AoD, where I usually see such issues reported first.

Even if the data are exactly the same, it's still going to be a new pressing, possibly on different machines, possibly on different stock, which might increase the chance of bad discs being produced. Like I said, mine worked, so it's likely to be a physical thing on some of the discs instead of a problem with the information. I'd try taking/sending it back for an even exchange and seeing if you can't get a set that works.

They did not change the logos to geneon so I take it to be a pressing error, instead of them changing something from the original discs.
Also I already emailed geneon, I hope they respond soon. I'm thinking about just exchanging them but I wanted to try them out on another dvd player first, just to make sure. But I won't be able to do that until this weekend.

Also Sailorasteroid did you check further then the 3 eps on your disc 5?? I can play the first several eps of all my discs with no problems, it's the last ones that are screwed up for me.

For those who are getting some video glitches on the S boxset, here is an interesting thing you might want to try out. I got this from the Genvid forums.

This means that if your DVD player's cables are hooked to your VCR instead of the TV, this could cause problems (the video glitches). I got my SS Boxset today, SIX DAYS early (compared to five days early for the S box)

I noticed that both the English and Japanese songs are on here for vocal songs (Watashitachi-ni Naritakute, Sailor Team no Theme)

I'll watch it on my external DVD player later...I hope the SS box has no glitches like S did...
