I am a member of many forums and I have never ever felt so very unwelcome. I know that mods and administrators must be firm with the posters, but never this badly. I mean, what does it cost to use a smiley after posting such a cold sounding post? I didn't mean any harm in that post, and I felt as though I did something horribley wrong.

I'm just asking that she just be a little nicer, is that alot to ask for? Apparently so.
Heaven forbid somebody post before Tiff gets online to read the post. Here's a thought: If you really feel so unwelcome, feel free to leave. There's nothing stopping you.

I'm assuming sooner or later the companies that made the DVDs (*is too lazy to look it up*) WILL notice sooner or later, just like from the R boxsets. If there is bad grammar, I think the company should have looked it over before they released it. Do you mean bad grammar by spelling, or the subtitles are weird with the English language, ie "I is going to the bookstore" ?
No, the bad grammar was on the main menu screens. An example is on the third disk, the part with the Sailor Gallery says "Featuring Sailor Chibi-Usa's" ...0__o that makes no scense. Also, the insert sheet that had the episodes and the episodes name, prologe, opening, part A, part B, and ending sometimes forgot to put in "Prologe" or "ending" beneath some episodes. Yes, these are small problems, but if I get punished for bad spelling in school, then surely the DVD companies should be punished (on behalf of the Moon that is ~_^).

And Tiff why do you have such a horrible attitude? I notice that you're very cold and direct in a lot of your posts. I don't understand why the majority of the people that post here suck up to you so much.
*Blink*

Hrm...I'm not even going to bother to try to defend my personality and my way of doing things on this board. You're not important enough to me to care *shrugs* I've dealt with the likes of you far too many times. You get spoken to once or twice about your conduct here, and you automatically assume i'm a heartless bitch. Join the club.

All I can say is that Celexa, peachvampiress, Sailorasteroid, and ParaKiss_Groupie said it best. If you don't understand after that, then nobody can help you. Thanks, guys, for footing that for me.

and Parakisu is right..you don't like it? Leave. It won't make any difference to me. Still think I'm cold? Nah. I'm just not going to pretend to care whether or not someone i've known for less than a week is going to stay or leave these forums. The people I truly care about are the ones that stay, and the ones that truly know the real me.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.

Because either
A) We like her, or
B) We fear her abilities to ban us.

Pick your poison. I'm in the A catagory. Take a look at sailormoon.com and their message boards, and you'll see why "cold" moderation is necessary. Disrespect will get you nowhere. So go join column B, beeyotch.

Judging then, my guess is they won't notice until someone points it out to them, at least the Sailor Chibi-Usa's part. As for missing the prolouge and ending part, they should have looked it over. Do companies even check over at their product when they're done? There seem to be pleny of avoidable errors, IE the dub laughter in the R boxset and now this in these new boxsets.

Me: (says what)

Steve: See, it's like this: The bridge goes up and the soldiers rush out....

I'm going to be OT here but because of what I read, I felt I needed to be supportive, too.

That's to the person who said Tiff is cold. Well, I must admit, I like that. Not because she really is cold, but because she does what must be done.

I've said several times that I'm an admin too somewhere else, and I've never been like Tiff (mostly because I admin young children). Well, it was chaos. Really. And when I started to act like Tiff, cause I thought and still think she is an excellent example, I was accused of being cold to the members by one of the mods.

But, I'm saying this... when I don't think anyone should have to justify Tiff's attitude. After all, she owns the board with Dan and Bob, so it's her and their rules we have to comply with, don't we ?

*and to add another point, Tiff isn't like that when you do things right. she has humor, too, I don't imagine her being all cold at all o.O

Thanks to all who chimed in to defend Tiff and the rest of the admins/mods. I know that personally Tiff is one of the warmest people i know, she's just strict, which we NEED to be as admins. I'm not even going to go into some of the trouble makers we've unfortunately had to ban permanently, but it's because we do this that we have such a smootly running board.

And for that matter, and this is a general term to all members, there's not sense in getting defensive against a mod or admin. Not only are there TWO rules (Respect for site staff and Users != Mods) against this, it's just unnecisarry. You'll know when you're REALLY in trouble, that's when you get temporarily banned or severely warned. If this doesn't happen, there's no reason to get defensive or apologize, just pick up where you left off, take our advice, and move on. Nobody hates you so don't act like we do.

Now with that said, let's end this conversation and get back on topic. There are other threads (or the option of creating a new thread) for topics like this.

So who went right out and bought the thinpak boxset?
*before anyone can answer*
Hai! Hai! I did! *waves hand around wildly*

Yes! The complete S season is now owned by me! Woot!

OK, so I'm a little happy. Now this weekend I can have a big marathon session.

So that this isn't completely devoid of information: you've seen the art for the front, but the art for the back is even better, IMO. It's a similarly styled version of this picture (thanks, google image search!), and with the semi-transparency is very soft and ethereal.

Be careful with this one, there is a bit of a pun involved. Dr. Spooner described his visit to a castle: "In the center of the fortress was the Palace Court. The gated entrance to this area was the court palace."

The DVD case covers are the same as the signature series, only the image is slightly enlarged; the red banner is gone from the top replaced by a smaller Geneon/Pioneer logo in the upper left (now written one on top of the other instead of left to right); the 10-pt. sans-serif "TV SERIES VOL. N" is gone, replaced with a ~20 pt. Times New Roman "Disc N" in the little nook under the "Sail" part of the logo; the bottom margin has "The TV Series -Complete Collection" in a pretty cursive font; and the little "DVD VIDEO" logo is gone from the lower right hand corner (it's on the spine of the box).

Oh, and the backs are completely different. All the thin boxes in the sat have a green back with an exploding galaxy, and the same semi-transparent version of the picture above. Then the episodes, special features, and credits. There are no pictures from any of the episodes.

I probably was one of the first, mine came on July 1st (O_O)

BTW Sailorasteroid, did you notice any glitches on any disc when/if you played them in a external (not on your computer) DVD player? Me and a few other people have been having problems with them, namely Ep 106 "Bonds of Destiny! The far-reaching day of Uranus". Also, on Disc 5, some episodes freeze up or don't even play.

How did you manage that? And will whatever you did work so I can get the SuperS set on Aug. 1?

Yeah, 106 has problems in the English audio--namely that it's crap. ^_^ I've run that episode, and the first 3 of disc 5, on my Playstation 2 with no problems to speak of.

I should also mention that these DVDs do some really nice things, like allowing you to stop and bring up the menu without sitting through the introduction. Also nice is putting chapter breaks after the OP and the eyecatch, since you can skip over those. Now, I'd have really been happy if they'd done it after Sailor Moon's Crisis Make-up/Rainbow Moon Heart Ache combo, which is a bit of a time kill.

Hi, you are not alone, I am also having problems with my SMS boxset discs. So far i've gone through the first 2 discs, and on disc one the last three eps jumped and paused a lot. And on the second disc the last three episodes won't play at all, I can't even get my computer's dvd player to read the second disc. I haven't tried the other discs yet, but if they have problems I'll post them.

Well just to update, I also have problems with disc 3, 4, and 5. I didn't watch them all, I just skipped by chapter stop, and on all three of those my dvd player got to a point where it would not show any more. However there seems to be no problems with my disc 6, although there could be pauses on that one like my disc 1.

I am very disappointed. Please everyone check your discs so that I can see if all I need to do is a return.

¬_¬ I still don't have the boxset. I misplaced my bank card the first few days it was out, and now that I've found it, my parents are unsure if they'll let me buy it, but if it's got glitches on it, then the Hell with it. I hope that Pioneer fixes this because I reaaaaallly want the S season, but I'll be damned if I'm paying $130 for something that won't work.

Rightstuf just...kinda sent them early. When I got it, I was like "What the, these weren't supposed to arrive THIS early..."

Hopefully my SS boxset will follow the same schedule, because I'm going on vacation like, right before it releases.

You should email Geneon immediately and demand some sort of fixing service like ADV's. :? Once again, something that we fans have been looking forward to for such a long time has made us disappointed yet again.

Okay, I was just reading on the Genvid forums about the boxset problems and they're talking about problems on the 5th disc. Okay, didn't the Classic and R boxsets have major problems on their disc 5s. This is just weird 0___o;. But I don't get it. Wouldn't Geneon just be using the discs that were used in the original and signature series (which didn't have problems)?
