Geneon Re-releasing Sailor Moon Products (January 6, 2004)

This past fall, Pioneer had been purchased and the name of it's animation and music division has been changed to Geneon. Geneon has decided to re-release some of their titles in a Signature Series line of products to get their name out. These products are excatly the same as the originals, with a lower price and a red Signature Series bar on the top of the covers. The Geneon Signature Series Sailor Moon re-releases are:

Sailor Moon S - Heart Collection I: January 6, 2004 - $19.98
Sailor Moon S - Heart Collection II: March 9, 2004 - $19.98
Sailor Moon S - Heart Collection III: April 13, 2004 - $19.98
Sailor Moon R - The Movie: January 6, 2004 - $19.98
Sailor Moon S - The Movie: January 6, 2004 - $19.98
Sailor Moon SuperS - The Movie: January 6, 2004 - $19.98
Sailor Moon Movie Box - The Dream Set: January 6, 2004 - $49.98

For those of you out there who wants to pick up the Pioneer releases from a couple years back who didn't want to before because of prices, or for people who have yet to get these products, this year would be a good time to think about picking up these releases. Remember that these prices are retail, so you can find these discs at lower prices depending on where you look.

Just to say, I went to Best Buy and saw a lot of geneon products. I saw all 3 movies. There were so many of them O_O They have the Geneon logo, and a big red strip....I forgot what it said. Something like how some PS2 games have Greatest Hits on the front, and XBox with Platinum Edition logos that take up the top part of the cover. The borders on the sides with title strip seemed different. More sparkly and I guess more "glam" to it. Same covers as the originals though. Which is sad, because it would be cool to have the original covers of the movies....sorry, done now.

I'll probably get the R movie now. I already have the S TV series and I'm not interested in the S or SuperS movies. I just didn't like them too much (though the music was great). I might buy the SuperS TV series if that goes on the Signature Series line too, though it's unknown at the moment if it will. Maybe when they're finished re-releasing all of the S TV series...

I went to FYE, Best Buy, and Suncoast this past weekend to look for all of the products listed above. I didn't see anything, it's to bad because I needed to update all of the S season to DVD.
