I thought the wand was originally called the "Moon Stick" in engrish. I recall laughing at the ADV subtitles which said Cresent Moon Wand when they Luna clearly says Moon Stick.

That's a really good point that I was going to bring up.

Also, if it's not too much to ask for, could you guys post screencaps of the infamous Lita butt blur scene? I totally don't remember this alteration, so it would be nice to see screencaps from the original and the dub side by side.

Also, I could get better pics of pictures you already have up, because most of them are a little too bright and small.

I know that the sub it's in a slightly different position, I just can't get the sub angle to perfectly match the dub one, oh well. You can still see the blur.

Thanks for posting that! I have seen all of the dubbed episodes and all of the original episodes except for SuperS and episode 67 which was missing on the R box set. I noticed that the nude part of the henshin was blurred, but I did not notice the butt blur there, lol.

What's wrong with seeing a butt blur from that henshin? It's from the "Jupiter Power Makeup" henshin, not the "Jupiter Star Power Makeup" henshin! My theory is that DiC was too lazy to edit the body lines for the new henshins...they do the same for Venus' henshin but...

Wow! Talk about lazy! They could have just edited the star henshin once and used those, cutting the original henshin, and adding in the edited star ones. The part that really annoyed me was that they put so much effort into adding the "TV fuzz" on the communicators, the stupid scene changer things and other stupid, unnecessary scene alterations.

Ok, we're getting a little ahead of ourselves now. This section is discussion about the cpmparisons that are on the site. I let the first mention of a future episode slide since that is the next episode I'm doing, but talking about R stuff is definetly way ahead of the game. Comparison-wise, we just got to adding her to the team, we're still 30 - 40 episodes away from the star henshins. So please stick to the existing comparisons and not future ones.

Eh, that's a my bad there. Since using DVDs is a lot easier than tapes for this kind of thing, I forgot about ADV's mixed terms, and since I mute the sub TV I didn't pick up on it. So that's fixed and I've made a note to be sure to be careful for those things in future comparisons.

Episode 23: "The scene where Naru jumps in front of the tiara is altered in the same fashion as a scene in episode 93. A couple of the shots were changed in order, cut short, and added in. "

I think I could expand on this (please add it if you want):

Dub:
- Moon throws Tiara
- Molly jumps in front of it
- Shock x3
- Tiara is seen coming toward Molly
- Moon screams (shot taken from "OMASTE ONEGAI!" [Please stop!], but mouth is hanging open)
- Tiara is seen coming even closer
- Moon says "Oh, stop tiara!" (taken from "Na...Naru-chan!")
- Tiara is seen coming even closer (reused footage), Molly "braces" for impact
- "No no, stop!" (taken from "OMASTE ONEGAI"), and the Tiara stops

Sub:
- Moon throws Tiara
- Naru jumps in front of it
- Shock x3
- Tiara is seen coming toward Naru
- Moon says "Na...Naru-chan!"
- Tiara is seen coming even closer, and Naru braces
- Moon yells "OMASTE ONEGAI!" (Please stop) and the Tiara stops

I'm getting a LITTLE offtopic here, but here's a little thing for your Episode Guide:

It was real easy to do. Me and a friend made a program in VisualBasic to easily and quickly convert them to links.

Hopefully, you can put it into the current PHP environment...

Heh, it's even easier to do in PHP. PHP > Basic. You had to code a Basic script to analize the final HTML page after the PHP script does its work, and then code the functions to make the chances, all I have to do is add a few lines of code to the PHP. =P

Anyways, I never really thought about having live links in that list, always thought of it more as a list rather than a gateway to the comparisons. Seems like a good idea, I may implement that.

Anyways, getting slightly back on topic, about the screencaps. Since you seem to be doing a good job of getting caps and want to have them be seen quickly, if it's alright with you I'd like to use them in the comparisons themselves. I'm obviously not getting them done anytime soon between doing the comparisons themselves as well as other things. I'll think of a way to do this in the morning after getting some sleep. Send me a PM with what you think and we'll work from there.

Also thanks for the more detailed notes for that scene. I did have them written down, but not as much detail, and was honestly lazy since it was more lengthy than I thought and didn't feel like typing it all out either. ^^;;; It's nice to have those details for anyone that curious of excatly what changed on that scene.

Thanx. ^_^ I was planning to get that coded back when I recoded the site last year, but never got around to doing it then and it didn't come across my mind until Sunday. Glad to hear it getting nice responses. ^_^ And yeah, it's a bit hard to believe that so many episodes got high grades, but you have to keep in mind that for the CWi dub, there was a lot less cut in the video than the DiC dub. The scripts between them were hit and miss about the same, and a CWi hit means high score, which I'd say was a little less than half their episodes.

Two things:
1) Okay, so DiC thinks it's okay to show a NAKED butt with no lines but its wrong to show someone wearing underwear?! (or the bottom of a swimsuit, which is what I always thought those looked like)
2) How come her panties match her fuku? I thought they were usually white?
